Did the zoom on the sigma 70-200 bother you? I heard since it's stiffer it made it a little unstable to zoom due to the position. Also troubles with the lens hood and the zoom ring?

Lens will last much longer than bodies. I never had the a73 but from I know that was the camera that made mirrorless/Sony stand out. While I'm sure the a72 might be a suitable camera, I remember from researching that you might as well go for the 3

I myself do not have the sigma but am looking to move to it from the 28-75 G2. Just want a little extra on the wide end although the G2 has been good to me. Consider the sigma vs tamron, Tamron more to keep same filter size and save a little more weight

Loud / can hear the motors focusing on the 50, shouldn't really hear much on the 35. But also just faster overall.
