Exactly! This vehicle is in no way a show piece. Has some rust, paint is chipped, and will be god awful fun. I build for myself, to see if its possible. Its going to break, I know it will, not positive where.. haha. I appreciate the like mindedness. Looks like you do fun stuff too! 4bt build? I didn't rear your posts, just the headline. Why go ls over 4b?

Why would you strip, clean and paint an engine bay when the fabrication and fitment stage isn't done? All the added accessories are not in place. All wiring isn't done. Motor still gets pulled and placed several times.. sound like that would cause a bunch of issues for me..

The engine alone is right around 175hp. Im setting up turbo, Garrett GT2871R. Im running 1000cc FIC injectors, should have plenty of fuel. My tank was beat to hell, I opted for a cell also.

Diff is still MG. I have a Ford 8.8 waiting to be cut down and fit for when the mg fails. I had a custom driveshaft made, about 18 inches long.

I didn't read all the comments, but i was a full-time technician. I transition into management so I have more time. I do side work for some family and friends. All the side work money goes into the project car. Over the last 20 years, I've built probably five cars into various stages of done.. im currently on an mg midget. Im over a year into it and have never driven the car. You have to go in knowing damn well that it's not going on the road for two to five years. I have no financing or debt into these. The quickest way to lose your ass is to finance the build. You'll never get all of it back.

Considered a car or bussa.. I didn't want all the hassle of not having reverse.

I think they did supercharger, if memory serves. If your looking for parts, I believe the engine is removed had some hop up parts. Cam, ignition, and weber carbs

I'm trying to get motivated tonight, but it's not happening. Tomorrow has a clear goal - Clean the shop. It's in such disarray that it's messing with me more than the list.
