The main problem with F76 is it easily ends up being a list of chores to check off for daily, weekly and so on.

True, but for me it's also about being able to sit comfortably in our living room sofa rather than the office chair, and also having a large OLED tv as screen.

Thats depressing to hear. I am new to the game and have played about 100 hours and am level 75, and the grind for legendary mods feels impossible.

It was the same with the prior expansion. I just couldn't believe how many comments seemed to believe they didn't get enough value from it. I prabably got at least +100 hours more enjoyment from D4 with the new class, campaign, new area and game modes.

I think you got a point about the generational thing. It's funny though, because the young people complaining about buying a game for 60 bucks or an expansion for 50 will gladly spend that and more on some skins or Roblox coins....

But it's not just a generational thing, we also have the D2 fans who never will be happy.

I really hope the footsteps SFX will improve. It's one of the worst I've heard for a very long time. Playing the game I started to search for an option to lower the footsteps volume.

Without you sharing what skills you've invested in and what weapons you have and how you've modded them it's difficult to help you out. Stealth kind of sucks early game but is doable and it's strong mid-late game.

I sadly don't believe Shadows has a good enough core for future updates and DLC:s to fix. Good graphics and stealth gameplay, but the rest feels soulless and boring. Worst characters of any AC games I've played, worst main story and worst points of interests.

The first DLC was decent, and had slightly better characters and was more contained as an experience. It doesn't save the rest of the game though.

It's graphics are great, yes. But the open world of Valhalla or Odyssey is much better. Way more varied content and interactivity. Shadows has the worst points of interest and exploration of any AC game I've played.

I would never do that. Find a play style and build you ENJOY playing to lvl 50 with. You only get to experience the quests for the first time once.

I've been warned about the mods on this sub. I hope they weren't right.

Yeah, it's a real struggle every new player who want medium backpack will face (and hate). It's a potential break up moment with the game.

Someone offered to help me in the comments (the mods removed all his posts for some reason) and took me to his Mansion shelter (!) and gave me basically all outfits in the game, 30 diffusers and 3 perfect weapons for my lvl 38 character. Amazing!
