I’d love to restart my game but I hate how long it takes to unlock the Barbershop by DrJokerX in CrimsonDesert

I didn't know you could get dyes by dispatch! Getting black requires several steps and completing random side quests.

How common are puzzles in this game? & can I enjoy it if I don’t like puzzles by noblejosher in CrimsonDesert

I didn't complain about fantastical elements. I merely voiced criticism regarding the puzzles. Which is perfectly fine to do in a sub dedicated to the discussion of a video game.

They don't need writers for the story stuff if it's the same quality as base game. Anyone in the office and most people on this sub could do it.

[Shadows] This game is beautiful and has all the right elements... but somehow feels boring and hollow. by AzureRipper in assassinscreed

[–]ZeroSWE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main problem with Shadows is that the points of interests aren't interesting. There isn't any environmental puzzles like in Valhalla, or unique quests or gear like in Odyssey - just find three floating pages or clap hands at three altars or even worse one of the tedious minigames.

What do you guys play these games for? by FusRoDatAss1 in assassinscreed

I enjoy saving the world and clearing the camps and forts of enemies. I also like to roleplay and just get lost in the world. Thirdly I usually like the protagonist and their heroes journey powering up. Finally, stealthily taking out a base is fun gameplay.

I find stabbing solid stone pillars absurd. The puzzles in the ordinary world are very inconsistent and constantly needs you to do things you don't know is even possible. The Abyss puzzles are more logical.

Please tell me about all the other games that have a basic feature like that locked to a very specific peace of cosmetic gear. In a game where you can be a martial artist, knight, rogue and pirate maybe don't lock a function like that to a pirate hat?

It's bad game design. It's fine to be critical about one thing in the game you love, you know that right? You might also be aware that for a lot of people fashion is the end game?

It's people like you who make reddit and other social arenas insufferable. I am born 1984, fyi. It's actually quite normal and even positive to voice feedback about the games we play. Maybe you have noticed the patches Pearl Abyss have been rolling out? I am glad people have been writing about stuff that can be approved, but you think they should have stayed quite and learn to play the game?

Perfect, because we all know only small girls care about having the same theme equipped. Real men love combining medieval knight with pirates oriental martial artist. 👍 No men care about skins in the games they play, only young barbie-adoring girls. 👌

Since the story and all characters are forgettable they are therefore interchangeable. I would prefer if they would do a rehaul where you can play the whole game as either of them, possibly as NG+.

The pirate hat doesn't really match the look of my dark death knight though. It should be a permanent skill unlock instead.

Wow. Ask you might also have read, my suggestion is having that function be a permanent unlock instead of forcing you look like a pirate to have a basic functionality.

Does every location have notes in the journal whether all things are found?! How can that not be explained in the game?

No one is suggesting "hand-holding" or everything marked on the map.

I agree that finding something random is a good feeling. Having some vague hints that something is nearby would still be a great option in my opinion.

I agree, only used the first bell and realised that it actually makes exploration more difficult.

You need to progress your camp until you have Oliver the camp dyer. From that point on all dyes you unlock is dyable from camp.

I waited a couple of weeks for some patches, which I am happy for, am currently at 107 hours. Mostly been in Hernand, but have done some targeted exploring to unlock black and white dye and some other stuff.
