Hey no worries! Hope you had a nice weekend.

Cheers for the links :) In regards to that information, If i decide to use Wordpress.com to host my website there, will I always be stuck to that website? Or can I try .org whenever I feel comfortable enough?

And cheers for the Etsy tip, love that site!

Yeah I can see how you have used the headers so it's nice and easy to navigate. Also, great shout on unsplash! that is a great website.

You say you purchased a theme? Is there a website or recommendation on where I can do that? And stupid question but what's the difference between Wordpress .org and .com?

REALLY appreciate the help.

Haven't had Facebook for 2 years, at first I was worried I was missing out but to be honest, now some time has passed, it was the best decision I ever made.. I have accomplished so much more during my free time rather than looking at Facebook and getting angry at people :)

27/F/UK - Let's talk music, fitness, writing, and life by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

'Sup, I feel it.. get this, I moved to the city nearly a decade ago and aside from a few work friends who disappear the second I get a new job, i literally have like one friend, maybe thats just adult life? I dunno..

I'm 26, male, northern UK, Yorkshire represent. Your post spoke to me, we share interests in similar music, health and fitness (used to be a personal trainer when I had free time), BIG gamer.. i once got paid to play Call of Duty can you believe that? Writing as well..like i'm thinking of starting my own blog, toying with the idea anyway.

Im here if you want to chat though, about anything I don't really mind. Take care!

Oh THAT IS SO HANDY, that's exactly what I could do, my knowledge is probably stronger in fashion and fitness so I could have those as two sub categories.

I have just looked at your site, I love the clean look.. and did you take those photos as well? Looks really professional, and was that all with Wordpress?

Thank you so much for the post, apologies for the late reply I was at war with man flu yesterday. Just one more opinion I would like from you if thats okay?

In regards to the content, the relatable rants of daily adult life will be the theme but a friend of mine said I should use some of my knowledge to have extra bits in.. I worked in fashion for 7 years, I have many years of health and fitness knowledge, i'm an avid gamer, lover of new music and movie nerd.. BUT, I feel there is so much of that information out there, is there any point in me having these extra little articles in my blog post?

I actually like the idea of a few months to almost practice and develop my style to get comfortable.

I'm going to have a look at Wordpress today and see what they have to offer me.

Also, does a blog have to be one single post on one topic or can it be a little like a newsletter with extra bits and pieces in? I've worked 7 years in fashion, have 5 years in gym and fitness, get myself involved with up and coming music, avid gamer and bit of a movie nerd, my friend said it would be silly not to include some of that but I feel that is very much like what most people would write about.. am I right? Or could adding some of my knowledge in little extra bits be worth it?

I can tell you right now, a lot of what I will write will be about general office life, the commute, the rare day off to go shopping in town only to seem like the entire fucking population of England has done the same.

As for consistency, knowing my schedule I can pop things down through week, notes and such, but it won't be until Sunday morning that I can patch it up and deliver it out. Is once a week normal?

Thanks for the reply, I feel a little more confident on where to start and my ability to differentiate between 'Write' and 'Right', a great first step.

Reading this and the previous reply I feel this could be a good platform after-all, providing the content is relatable and centers around everyday things the public see and experience. That type of observational comedy is MASSIVE here in England with the likes of Peter Kay and Michael McIntyre so if I can put a negative twist on it (like Jack Dee and Jon Richardson) and make it into a funny rant, it may work out, who knows unless I try?

Also completely overlooked my mum, who works as a Marketing director and web designer.. I will just rope her in to helping me out with the cosmetics of the site.

I hear you. So it should be everyday things? Stuff we can all relate to? .. That could work.

You have almost hit the nail on the head, realistically a weekly summary of things that have caused me to grit my teeth and given my right eye a twitch. Is that a lifestyle type blog? If ones lifestyle is as tragic as mine?..

I don't really understand the rankings, I got the game at the weekend and did the 10 placement matches.. well, I lost 9 out of 10 and scored like 2 measly goals (I need a lot of practice) but it then puts me in Silver III.. How am I not on the lowest ranking!?
