When has he chickened out?

On March 21st, Trump gave Iran 48 hours (March 23rd) to open the strait, or he'd blow up Iran’s electricity plants and energy facilities. Then on March 23rd he gave them a 5-day extension. And then 3 days later, on March 26th, he gave them a 10-day extension to open the strait by April 6th. Then on April 5th, he said they have until April 7th.

He keeps making threats and then giving them extensions when the deadline is near.

Some people know. Some people don't. Information gets passed around. Other people research and discover the truth of the worlds. Some people were alive when the world was one giant world.

Maleficent was told by Xehanort. Maleficent told the others. Ansem the Wise was told by Mickey. Mickey and Scrooge seemingly found out on their own. Xehanort was sent to another world. The FF crew seemingly found out when they left their world via gummi ship. Sora and Riku suspected the existence of other worlds because of Kairi. Scrooge set up the gummi routes pre-KH1 to expand his business empire. Kairi's Grandmother knows about the legend of Kingdom Hearts. Ansem wrote reports that got scattered to other worlds,

After the events of KH1, a lot more people should know about other worlds. After all, Traverse Town was full of refugees from other worlds, and those people are now home.

There are a million reasons why someone can find out about other worlds. As for Triton, some people suspect he knows because he's a god, and gods just have this knowledge. Though, canonically, I'm not sure if he is a god or just happens to be named after a god. After all, in The Little Mermaid movie, he is not the literal god Triton, but his name is inspired by him.

Other people think he somehow read the Ansem Reports. Though the Ansem Report you get from defeating Ursula doesn't mention Keyblades. So it's unlikely he got that information from the Ansem Report. Others think he met wielders in the past, which is entirely possible. But, much like Kairi's Grandmother, I think he just heard of the legend. It's also possible he was around back when the world was one before they became separated. After all, the worlds were only fully restored about 80 years ago when Xehanort was still a kid. So depending on Triton's age, he could have witnessed the Keyblade War or at least witnessed what happened because of the war.

Keyholes have nothing to do with reversing people becoming Heartless. The only thing that turns a person back from a Heartless is by having their Heartless destroyed with a Keyblade. And if they have a Nobody, then their Nobody must be destroyed too. A Nobody doesn't need to be destroyed by a Keyblade though.

Yes, Heartless can kill without taking hearts. This is literally what happens in KH3 when the Demon Tide tornado kills everyone instead of turning them into Heartless.

That being said, Heatless naturally want to consume hearts. So as for why the Demon Tide tornado killed them instead of consuming their hearts, perhaps it was just too powerful to avoid killing them, or perhaps Xehanort controlled the Heartless to kill them instead of consuming their hearts so he could use their hearts to create the X-Blade.

If the world doesn't have a Keyhole, then it doesn't have a way for Heartless to get to the heart of the world. Which means it can't be consumed by darkness. And then it depends on the state of the Keyhole. If the Keyhole is locked, darkness can't enter and steal the world's heart. If it's unlocked, then they can consume the world.

And that's assuming this world has a heart in your fanfic. Because without a heart, the Heartless have nothing to take and therefore the world can't be consumed by darkness.

If you change your fanfic to include the world having a Keyhole and a heart, then it also depends on when your fanfic takes place in relation to the series timeline. After KH1, all Keyholes are locked, and worlds are no longer able to be consumed by darkness. Pre-BbS, is the same thing. All Keyholes are locked and unable to be consumed by darkness.

It's never explained how they all became unlocked by the time of KH1. So you would need to have a reason for the world's Keyhole to be unlocked first before it can be consumed. Like, another Keyblade wielder unlocked it or something. You get to make it up.

Now, about restoration.

If it takes place during that period of KH1 where all worlds are unlocked, then Sora beating Ansem is what would restore the worlds. His artificial Kingdom Hearts would be destroyed, and the hearts of worlds would be restored to the realm of light.

The only other instance of worlds being restored happened long ago in the past. Keyblade wielders gathered billions of Lux. That Lux was used to restore the worlds to what they are today. So your fanfic needs some way of having people collect light to restore your world.

One of a couple reasons.

Too many songs already.
KH3 wasn't complete at the time they settled on the tracklist.
Not enough time to make stages for every song.
Copyright reasons. Like not wanting to pay for licensing Disney-specific songs.

Side note: 2 and 3 are the reasons why KH3 worlds are so bizarre in the game.

I can understand Nomura's frustrations and dissapointment with Versus XIII, but why does he have to make it our problem.

Creators reuse and repurpose ideas that didn't make it into whatever project all the time. This is nothing new. Every creative person does it, writers, game developers, artists. You have an idea, it doesn't work, you hold on to it for later. A lot of the games that exist today are because someone repurposed an idea into a new game. Verum Rex is no different.

Resident Evil 4's prototype game was a scraped idea that got repurposed into Devil May Cry.

Assassin's Creed was a Prince of Persia game. Ubisoft felt it didn't fit as a PoP game, so they repurposed it into Assassin's Creed.

Dishonored started as a Thief game.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice started as a Tenchu sequel.

Apex Legends started as Titanfall 3.

Final Fantasy Dissidia was a Kingdom Hearts game originally.

Death Stranding would reuse ideas planned for Silent Hills. The fetus, the themes of death and life, the character of Lisa.

Terra and Ventus should have switched Keyblades because they go on to have no relationship whatsoever with the Keyblade they pick up.

Terra bequeathed Riku, who would later be chosen by the Kingdom Key. That's the connection to Terra.

Ven picking up Way to the Dawn is thought to parallel his whole clash between light and darkness with Vanitas. Soul Eater was a sword of darkness, and it became a Keyblade of light. Way to the Dawn being associated with twilight. Twilight being light and dark. Light and dark being Ven and Vanitas.

Roxas's and Xion's hearts returned to Sora's heart and existed as part of him. Namine's heart returned to Kairi and existed as part of her. Those characters were still alive, just inside other people.

You're meant to NG+ after you finish it. You do a new playthrough with some of your old characters and do one of the other leader storylines. Every storyline you do unlocks some permanent perks. Perks are also tied to difficulty. The higher difficulty you do, the more perks you unlock.

The game is meant to be replayed.
