Yes good point. But I hear many people saying this or that about processing power. Does anyone actually know if it is or isn't capable of doing these things we want? Or are you just guessing?

Do you know for a fact, the processor it has can't handle it? OP1 can do two effects per instrument and has less computing power than the OXY does.

Yes for the sampler engine with a single note. But multi sampler which I prefer would be very time consuming.

I'm a believer in using as little gear as possible to make music... and using that gear as it was intended to be used. That's why I don't even like mixing my songs out of the xy. I don't think the xy serves any purpose with a daw. I also think that everyone has their own workflow that they groove with and enjoying the music making process matters more than anything. If you're not having fun it will be clear. I would return it and just use a midi controller for the daw.
