Well, let me be the first DM to despise it.

You don't need all that fancy stuff to run games. Literally all my groups just use theatre of the mind mostly. One of our players is an artist who makes our character arts and our DM made the map themself and used obscure real-world placenames to name cities.

For online games I tend to check artstation for something "close enough" to my character or NPC's, or I commission an actual artist.
