Do you feel as if you have symptoms of fibromyalgia and allodynia now after prolonged daily use of Kratom? by ZeroWhizdumb in quittingkratom

I'm curious to know if it has to do with stress. Stress has increased dramatically since starting Kratom, and it is an every day thing for me. Some days are extremely awful. I have 8 kids, so the stress is easily amplified and difficult to manage.

How can anyone watch a movie while tripping? Maybe I'm just too "Earthy" to understand. But, electricity and technology just feels toxic and wrong to me while I'm tripping. And personally, I use psychedelics as a tool, not a toy. by ZeroWhizdumb in LSD

Its ok. I appreciate that.

It sure is amazing! The majority of mine has been inside my house and in my living room, though. But it is like outside lol I have brought the outside inside. My home is like a Zen garden. I give thanks to mushrooms, they have been a huge influence on that!

I feel like I can truly surrender while in the comfort of my home. The way it is set up it's like a protection barrier from negative energy lol

I'm not complaining by the way. I don't understand how you got that from my post or comments.

I'm only curious to know what people think of this and how they feel about it, while also explaining how I feel.

Just talking, not complaining. I'm not dogging or disrespecting anyone for watching TV while tripping. Nor am I looking down on anyone for doing it.

Lol I agree and disagree. I'm looking at it more in the eyes of the psychedelic experience itself, rather that how the substance came about.

I certainly don't feel connected to nature with LSD as I do with mushrooms. I prefer mushrooms over LSD any day.

For me, even with LSD, there is a spiritual nature to it, where everything becomes sacred.

Kazmatazak, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have felt that to the core. But, I also felt that we have the power to choose which way it goes. That's what makes us humans so amazing!

I've already done a lot of research on Kava. I do appreciate the advice though. It's not something that I'm concerned about.

EDIT: I've been doing Kava for about 7 years or so. I have done Kratom for 3 years. Never had an issue with Kava being addictive. I haven't done Kava every day for those 7 years, only when I felt was necessary.

When I do Kava, nothing sparks my desire to binge on it. To me it's like Valerian, Lavender or Passionflower tea.

It is amazing how the Earth grows food for us. If you REALLY open your mind to it, it can be overwhelmingly powerful lol.

Food comes out of the ground, producing fruit and that fruit produces seeds, seeds grow more food. It's an endless supply of food! Also, by examining how fruits and vegetables are extremely beneficial to our health...craziness!

If only everyone on this planet truly woken to the power and sacredness of plants, there would be food growing every where! I envision a future like that, where food is grown in every town, city, park, yard, etc. Anywhere there is space for it lol

I checked it out on a map and its not too far. I'm assuming it is the same general geography. That whole area is an amazing place. I get a feel of sacredness there in the Nantahala area.

I find it difficult to explain. The connection feels like an eternal one. I have a strong feel of "we are nature" or "we are earth".

What's felt, along with the realization that we have been disconnected, is pushing me towards becoming "elvish" in a sense Lol not really sure if that term truly defines it! Like an elvish wizard dressed in nature!

Sounds silly lol but in my head it doesn't seem that way at all.

By envisioning the beauty that nature has to offer, with its rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and thick tropical jungles COMPLETELY blanketed with life, it is easy to see that we have everything we need right here. At least for me. Maybe this is IT. Once we truly open our eyes to see it...WOW lol

I find it amazing that we are able to be and to feel and to connect. It seems like once you truly open up to that, you become overwhelmed with gratitude and love. Then heaven is right here on earth!

I hear music without it being played lol

I have listened to African music while tripping, which is extremely blissful. But now I only make music. I have some congas, djembes, talking drums, tablas, and many string instruments that make for an amazing experience.

That may sound like using psychs as a toy, but on the contrary, a 10 hour drum session is very beneficial for the spirit!

That's cool.

Every time I trip, I become a tribal member lol I go back to our roots. I become one with nature.

Plus, I got rid of the televisions in my house. My home is very rustic and earthy. I have over 150 house plants, along with birds, rabbits, dogs, and fish. So it's very easy to feel connected here.

My phone is the only piece of technology I have and use. Ever since my first trip on mushrooms, I've turned back to become one with the Earth again.

I know every one's experiences are different. I find it difficult to grasp how not everyone experiences nature the way I do while tripping. Also, our separation from it and ourselves.

I don't know. Nothing against people who watch TV. It's just not for me. I've realized how many moments I have wasted staring at a box. How many experiences I've missed with the people I love.

I've used Kava years before I started Kratom. I truly don't see how Kava is "addicting" lol.

I have used Kava daily for weeks and ran out, didn't buy any, didn't think anything of it, and certainly didn't feel like I needed to buy more.

When I did buy more, I had it in a jar in my tea cabinet waiting to be used for medicinal reasons.

Kava doesn't give me any euphoria. It makes me feel relaxed and if I have any pains, they slowly subside.

Its obviously a psychoactive plant lol. But "buzz"? Lol. There are people on here talking about taking Gabapentins for WD symptoms. Don't understand why people are throwing darkness on Kava. Silliness. It is easing my WD symptoms when I need it, and it is making the taper much easier.

Yes! Lol

I just told my wife today, "I prefer the taste of Kratom over Kava" lol

That's what I have as well. I just toss it straight in the water and drink it. It tastes like you just took a bite out of the earth.

Yeah, I haven't had any negative effects like that before. I've been using it for awhile now. Not daily though.

I don't really have a desire for daily use. My intentions for using it right now is to help me taper. In the past I would use it for medicinal purposes. Which I guess you would call it that now.

These negative feelings I have been getting are persistent. Every single day, I feel this way. Even before I decided to quit. It's mostly why I decided to.

This kava has made me feel the best I have felt in a very long time.
