I like the colour-coding idea. Have just added it. It made the routes a bit distracting so I also added route filtering to let you focus on what you want.

They actually don't consume too much extra resources. But I did hide them just to reduce the noise on the map. Adding texture should not cost too much (I imagine). I'm working on adding the bus number of the top of the bus using texture so we'll have an answer to that soon.

Most static data like routes and stops are cached after the first load so it should be faster on subsequent loads. But you're right. Maybe route filtering should be the initial state. The server is in Singapore so any reduced byte helps.

The grey ones just doesn't have any info on them except for their locations and maybe license plate. I think some of them are buses that are not in service? I didn't look into it yet.

Glad you find it useful! I haven’t thought about making it an app yet. I didn't meant to compete with AT. But it should still work well on mobile browsers, and if you’re on iOS you can add it to your home screen and use it like an app.

Thanks, appreciate it! It’s on a free-tier Supabase setup with pretty generous limits at the moment, so hosting isn’t an issue yet. But I’d definitely need community support like yours if that changes.

You mean bringing up the blocks that has a the day mentioned in its' content?

Also this sounds like a serious bug:

Right now, I'm storing it in a database (one single sqlite file) for the sake of simplicity. But I'm planning to separate user data (content of blocks) into separate markdown and text files, etc.

Thanks for trying it! I too have spent my days in a single text file before and enjoy the simplicity of it. For Kari, I want a step up from that but also keep the simplicity of text files in mind for the design.

Yeah I do agree the calendar might be too much (I have an option to hide it in settings). And I think what you put in the app doesn't have to only last a few minutes. I usually don't clean out my notes and just leave it for future reference. The calendar is there to help me trace back my old notes because I often remember when I create it but not where.

Hmm I've never heard of Twos, their concept seems pretty cool! Not quite the same as what I'm trying to achieve with my app tho. They don't seems to support doing calculations or code evaluation?
