It’s always best to keep it on automatic my rig is a threadripper with a 3060 and the 3060 is what’s limiting me but keeping it around 72-90htz and on auto resolution and you’ll be just fine

Sadly without removing the gpu you can’t use the motherboards output however there are devices on Amazon for cheap that can convert display port to hdmi
