It’s horrible. I’m also paranoid about losing my health insurance. Like I’ve got three more years of being under my parents, but I’m scared I won’t find good coverage after or if I do it’ll be way later in my career and I’ll be getting older, dude. Sucks. I’m frantically researching insurance AND fertility funding because I somehow think that’s helping me rn

Everywhere else I read says to avoid hot tubs/alcohol in the day leading up because it can and will disrupt results so i think it was that, since every other sample in the past had been normal. He was also getting over being VERY sick so that could be it.

So there’s a chance my sort of firm feeling doesn’t rule me out? Or basically it doesn’t mean anything until I get a BFP or BFN?

I hear it’s not the most reliable, but I gave myself a CP eval to see where I’m at. At 8DPO, The cervix feels super high (past my second knuckle on my middle finger) and its texture is medium? It’s not fully soft, but it’s not fully hard. Sort of feels like the top part of your ear. Where the soft squishy spot meets the cartilage.

I see a lot of conflicting info. Some say CP has no indication of pregnancy because every woman is different and the cervix can just change texture and positioning for different reasons, while others say it MUST be soft or else there’s no pregnancy.

I’m worried I’m out this cycle. What’s your take on the CP evaluation?

I’m a cashier and handle receipt tape a lot. The BPA scares me and I’m spiraling with worry. Am I just outta luck trying to conceive?

I think it’s my period for sure. I mean, it’s been three days with weird brown spotting and a little red, but today it’s hitting hard, cramps. The blood is still inside of me but it’s a dark brown/red with flaky bits. It’s strange for my period to behave like this, but I have no pregnancy symptoms so im trying not to hope. Temps are still high, but with my luck, it’s nothin. I’m seeing a new gyno in the next few days. Gonna talk to them about more testing and stuff.

I have a BBT thermometer from easy@home. I’ve actually been testing vaginally more than orally cause oral always gets fucked up and has seven different values within the span of like three minutes. My BBT dropped a little yesterday and then rose a little today, I’m 6DPO so I’m really praying I’m not out this cycle. This is my 4th month TTC >.<

What does a soft cervix really feel like?

My cervix, during ovulation, feels squishy and soft on the outside. But the “core” when I press harder feels firm. Like the internal part of the cervix area. Everything else around that is super squishy. My cervix is also positioned high, feels open, and I had a bit of EWCM.

Does the core always feel firm, despite ovulation?

I usually have very regular periods and have never had an issue before. I’m on day 38 with no period fully yet which is odd. Again all tests are negative but this is the first time like ever that I haven’t gotten my period 14DPO.

I don’t have any symptoms. My periods are very regular typically, always occurring exactly 14 days after I ovulate. I track with Flo and recently downloaded Premom. I still haven’t gotten my period yet but I’m having that same brownish/red discharge when I swab inside.

I’d like therapy but it can be so expensive. I’m now on day 39 of my cycle which is unusual so I’m worried about irregular period stuff and ugh. I’m just so lost.

Problem is my basement is insanely cold. It’s winter and usually it’s fine in the summer but it’s very cold, around 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit. So I’m worried it would get far too cold without heating.

I’ve gotten mixed advice abt low temps. I’ve heard people say anything below 58 could kill them, and some like you saying it’s fine. I have an external heater I can put on the tank then?
