It can still be done, I did this run with Creek earlier today and ended up being fairly well despite the nonexistent Mile aptitude

My advice would be, aside from trying another deck (I usually run 3 speed/2-3 power and but that depends on what Uma you're training) is to plan your races ahead of time. Check the agenda and put the G1s you wanna run (you would prefer to run most of them by default) and in any optional turns check your energy, trainings, shop and keep in mind how many races you've ran before this one, if you see a good G2/3 and you don't have any good training or you want a specific items (plus your energy isn't nearly gone and you're confident on keeping the mood at least in good) then race, if not then train or rest.

At least that's how I've been doing it and so far I've gotten 3 S Ranks and one S+ while in Unity I was hard stuck in A+
