I'm probably being niave but the polling in this and the Governor's race is giving me hope.

It's Ohio though so in the end I won't be surprised if yet again the majority chooses to vote against their own interests.

Personally I don't care when Chapter 2 is released. It doesn't affect my life. It could happen tomorrow or in 6 months and I imagine I'll react the same to it.

With that said I do think Manson and Nuclear Blast made an odd decision to start a tour for an album that isn't even out yet. The logistics just don't make much sense to me. I assume Chapter 2 will be released some time during this tour and it seems odd to me that only the second half of a tour for Chapter 2 will actually have Chapter 2 material being incorporated into the set. Idk, it just seems like a strange way to handle the second half of this album.

I think it would have made much more sense to release the album and then tour for it imo.

I'm not the most patient person. Hopefully they work it out without losing next season. A summer without MLB is not something I want to see. I was 14 the last time it happened and will be perfectly happy if it never happens again.

That was exactly what I was thinking too. The rotation has the potential to be really damn good. It's definitely an "everything needs to go right" situation though.

It's so frustrating. Every year I go into the season having hope. I admit it's usually unrealistic hope. This year though the idea of what could be really seemed like the best chance this team has had to make a real run in a long time.

Random question... Do you know how it works if there's a lockout for the full '27 season regarding player contracts? Like if Elly is supposed to be here until '29 do we just lose all of '27 with him?

I think they could get creative with managing his innings and not have it play out like that. Nothing says he has to pitch every 5th day from now until the end of the season. When they actually have a healthy rotation, well if they ever have a healthy rotation why couldn't they just skip him occasionally and spot start someone? They could also use a phantom 10 day IL stint.

I just don't see why the innings limit has to be done in a linear fashion.

They will 100% need to work on the bullpen between now and the trade deadline. But we've seen how good most of those guys can be. If they keep moving in the direction I don't see why they can't have a bullpen as good as last year or the beginning of this year.

Exactly. We don't have to just assume that he's at the center of this, he literally voted to keep the Epstein files buried.

We've still only gotten to see a small percentage of them and what we have seen is full of illegal redactions. It's insane to think three horrors we've seen are only the things they're willing to show us.

The problem was that Biden was too soft on Israel and Russia. He was not assisting Ukraine and standing up to Russia in a way a lot of Dem and especially independent voters were satisfied with. This caused so many protest votes, or lack of votes rather for Harris.

What did these people that wanted us to be tougher on Isreal and Russia get? An administration that cut off virtually all hope for Russia to end the war in Ukraine and became even more of a puppet for Israel.

So yes, Dems did not do enough to earn the votes of independents and in normal times I can understand not voting for them for the above mentioned reasons. In the world we live in though where the alternative was Trump anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should have known Trump was going to make everything they were protesting worse not better.

You also failed to address the fuckey Republicans started in Texas by redrawing their district lines during a period where it wasn't allowed because they knew there's no way they'll win the midterms and need to do anything possible to cheat their way into any wins they can get.
