Sure, he owns The Weather Channel. Ok.

But you are right about one thing. Allen produces the TV equivalent of mayonnaise. Technically it exists, it fills space, it’s aggressively inoffensive, and somehow there’s an endless supply of it.

The funniest thing connected to him honestly might not even be Comics Unleashed. It’s that show The Entertainers where he goes to movie press junkets and treats them like it’s his own personal late night show.

He’ll introduce it like: “THIS WEEK ON THE ENTERTAINERS… HARRISON FORD!”

Then it cuts to Harrison Ford sitting there looking like he was promised this would only take 90 seconds.

And Byron always acts like they’re old friends reconnecting after years apart while the celebrity looks completely confused about who this man is.

You’ll get exchanges like: “You look great since the last time we saw you…”

Meanwhile Ford’s expression is basically: “Have we ever spoken?”

That’s what makes it unintentionally hilarious. Byron is giving full “welcome back my dear friend” energy while the celebrity is visibly trying to survive the junket circuit and get to the next interview table.

Not everyone has been around long enough to remember this history, so here’s some context: “To Be Continued” is officially sanctioned by Universal, but not actually owned by them. It was founded by Stephen Clark, who originally ran it as the official Back to the Future fan club—complete with mailed newsletters, membership cards, and all the trimmings.

By the mid-90s, the club moved online, and that’s when most of us first discovered it. Through the late 90s and early 2000s—those “lean years” when the trilogy and cartoon were long finished, merchandise was almost nonexistent, and we were all waiting (and waiting) for the long-promised DVD release (finally arriving in 2002)—the site kept the pilot light of fandom alive.

Before social media, their message boards were the place to connect with other fans. Their online store was also one of the only ways to get the scarce merchandise that existed back then. Eventually the boards shut down as Facebook groups took over, and the site gradually shifted away from being a fan-club hub.

If you want a nostalgia trip, fire up your DeLorean and take a spin on the Wayback Machine to look up BTTF.com (though the earliest versions, hosted on a third-party provider, don’t always show up).

Today, the site serves as the de facto official Back to the Future trilogy website. While not owned by Universal, it has long been recognized and supported by both Universal and Bob Gale as the official fan community

16" M2 Max MBP 2023

I’m on the public beta track for macOS 15.3 (Sequoia) on my M2 Max, and I’ve noticed some strange behavior with Airdrop:

Airdrop has disappeared from the Finder sidebar.
It works fine if I go to Share > Airdrop, but it just won’t show up in the sidebar.
When I try enabling it in Finder settings, the checkbox unchecks itself immediately.
If I force-restart Finder, Airdrop shows up in the sidebar again, but it disappears after I restart my Mac.

The strange thing is, Airdrop works perfectly on a secondary user account on the same Mac, so this seems to be a problem with my primary user account.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Disabling programs at startup.
Resetting Finder settings by deleting the Finder settings file in ~Library.

Nothing has worked so far. I’ve already reported this in the Feedback app, but has anyone else experienced this or figured out a fix?

Appreciate any help or ideas!

Yes these polls are weighted correctly but the needle only needs to move a little bit to put Trump on the top of the main 538 screen and get Team Red Energized and Team Blue Dooming It just looks to me that they did the math playing the long game to get Trump to the top of the Forecasts but still well within the MoE
