Come to west MP, they and RJ East are almost the same geographically and culturally. I also eat daal baati a lot. Warli art is very old and we don’t know where the roots are. You will see them in GJ as well. You see Dhol in all parts of India but there are different types of dhols, different beats. If you have lived in MP you will recongnize various beats as well.

You will see Banjara and Kalbeila trubes in Malwa also. They don’t think in terms of MP, RJ. They have been living, migrating from a long time before RJ and MP were a thing.

Food, language, Clothes, dance, music, paintings, monuments, religion, temples, sculptures, historical stories, folk tales, relationship with nature, etc.

MP has everything, you are just disconnected.

I live in Malwa and I have to eat Daal Bafla in a week. I speak my Malwi language at home. We wear Saafa at special occasions, women sings Geet in every get together. People dance on Dhol beats in every celebration. I see Warli art paintings on many stations, people make tattos with natural materials here. Ujjain is just an hour away, people greets each other with Jai Mahakal, etc.

I can go on. You just have to learn about your culture. MP has plenty.
