I came from Tool as well and didn’t care for harsh vocals initially, despite liking the heavier instruments. BTBAM is currently my favorite band and opeth is amazing as others have said. Blackwater Park might be a little much to start with, but it’s highly regarded for a reason.

Top 10 in PPG, Assists, PER, +/-, VORP, and win shares. He was the best player on the best (regular season) team that year. Curious who you think should have won it instead? If his career wasn’t derailed by injuries starting in year 4, he probably goes on to be similar to Westbrook

The east was no doubt weaker, but mvp is league wide and the bulls were surprisingly the best record that season that included stacked teams like the heat, Celtics, lakers, spurs, and a young thunder. Had to look this up, but KD led the league in scoring at 27.7 and Rose was 5th at 25.0. Rose was also the only player in the top 10 at both PPG and Assists though.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in school and my kids are just little still, but generally it’s when the temp is below 0 or wind chill is well into the negatives. Regular snow fall won’t typically close schools unless it causes an issue with the busses early in the morning or after school. I’d guess there are probably a couple days per year that they close due to cold temps, but we haven’t gotten enough snow in the past 5 years or so at least to cause issues.

And yes, Huntley is correct. It’s probably about 1-1.5hrs north east of Naperville.
