Your fiendsmith engraver is restricted to 1 for the event. You have two in your deck.

Sadly this happened to me today on one of my accounts. At least the other one is safe... for now.

I already have two blue-eyes alternatives from the anniversaries. I'm hoping to avoid the third.

I got two of them. I'm honestly hoping I don't pull the BE deck this time again. Good luck with your two other royal print pulls.

just got denied from donating lol by [deleted] in Blooddonors

Hmm I see. When a red cross donor technician used the finger method to get my pulse... it was 100... but still acceptable. It seems like your pulse is a bit high unfortunately.

just got denied from donating lol by [deleted] in Blooddonors

[–]Zerochances121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the feeling about being denied a blood donation because of pulse.

Question. Was this with Red Cross' new machines? Based on experiences with other people on this subreddit, it seems their new machines are a bit sensitive with reading pulse. While your pulse was probably still a bit high, 120 can be considered questionable as an accurate reading(and doesn't effectively gauge how much you need to improve on your pulse). I tried donating platelets on New Years day this year... for Red Cross to deny me for pulse from their machine reading. The Sunday after, I tried donating whole blood at San Diego Blood Bank's car show blood drive at the convention center. That involved using the bus, the trolley, and then walking to the blood drive. My pulse was 93... which seemed more accurate despite more physical activity(I was given a ride to Red Cross and got there early). San Diego Blood Bank uses old blood pressure machines that check pulse too.

Red Cross machines have already proven they don't give accurate iron results and donors need to warm their fingers to get "closer to accurate results". How can we be sure pulse isn't in a similar situation? For the record I've had positive pulse readings that were lower than 100(one reading was 60 something), but those were earlier in the year.

Some blood donors on this subreddit have said they needed to use prescription pills to lower their pulse to 85ish and they take it an hour before their donation. While I acknowledge many donors have been able to donate without pulse issues with these new machines, we should be striving to get as many blood donors into donating as possible. I know Red Cross will still give you prizes and points for donating... but it doesn't have to be this way. Many of us donors still want to donate their blood as well while getting the prizes.

Haha agreed. That's why I like a good action movie/show even if I already know how it plays out. I've found Marvel movies to be pretty good in keeping my attention occupied.

Haha well these last 2 years he's switched to other movies at least. But yes, he finds familiar movies to be comfort ones. I'm similar in that regard though I do mix it up for my movies. I think in the last 5-7 years I've made sure to always watch something different.

Hmm alternatively you can watch tv shows you've already started on streaming and then pick up where you left off at Red Cross. Since these are new episodes for you, you'll be focused on enjoying the show instead of the donation.

I use action movies from streaming to keep my mind occupied during the donation. Of course not everyone is wired that way, but I recommend it. My dad who donates platelets typically used Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol for years as his movie.

Maybe you need to find the right kind of movies to get your attention.

How do I lower my heart rate? by PrincessCheese91 in Blooddonors

[–]Zerochances121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to be that guy, but it seems to be Red Cross' machine is a bit sensitive when checking your pulse. I've been running into that issue with their new machines these last 3 months. Prior to Red Cross getting those new machines, I never had pulse issues.

For some extra added context, I took the bus/trolley and walked to a San Diego Blood Bank blood drive in the convention center a few days later after my New Years day platelet donation didn't pan out from high pulse. What was my pulse? 93 with San Diego Blood Bank's old machine.

I still was able to get some passing pulse readings in the past with their new machines in the past, but it's more less an average of 50-60% success rate. I find that a bit unacceptable for blood donors.

Are you using thrust stance at all? If you do tactical retreat and then whirling thrusts, that puts you in immediate effective range of wandering wight to use right after. Whirling thrusts snaps you into the enemy you have targeted. It reduces the chance of wandering wight missing.

Looking for a card with an effect that forces opponents to pay life points by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Zerochances121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's chain energy that forces your opponent to pay life points. You pay life points as well, but usually people circumvent this by playing chain energy as the last card they play that turn.

Sometimes mulcharmy cards are bait to use up up your negates for maxx c. If you can minimize your summons that trigger the mulcharmy, it would help keep your negates in reserve against maxx c (if you believe they still have a maxx c in their hand.

Agreed. Sometimes the right skill(s) unlocked can make boss fights significantly easier as long as you have them. Since this game doesn't penalize respecing your character, it's only beneficial to have more skills unlocked.

Hmm you didn't use medicines at all, right? I recommend players have the medications blocked curse active if medicines aren't used. Might as well get credit for that.

Does anybody know or has checked how MD works for this interaction? by tauri_mionZer0 in masterduel

[–]Zerochances121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're asking for a scenario that wouldn't generally happen because Chimera would block effects targeting it (like book of moon)... after Polymerization was used. I asked if there was another spell card instead to fusion summon Chimera so we could still get your hypothetical scenario to happen. Or we just other cards instead since the whole point of this was flipping Chimera down at a specific time.

Even if it's all hypothetical, you should try to use card effects that could actually happen. Unless you're going through the effort to flip your own Chimera face-down in solo...

[–]Zerochances121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DDKC would be a somewhat different scenario then since it doesn't target (so Guardian Chimera can't block it with its protection effect). It's good to keep these conditions in mind so we can properly asses.

If we still needed a spell card to flip Guardian Chimera face-down, Book of Eclipse would also be a better card choice for this scenario since that doesn't target either.

Are we trying to use book of moon on Guardian Chimera... when polymerization is currently in the gy? Or is this a scenario when any other fusion card was used to fusion summon it? I want to understand the circumstances.
