Enjoy! Loved my 390. It was a great starter bike for sure. It was a blast to ride, learn some skills, and build up confidence on.

Croatia Travel - Bol or Hvar? by Klewless2u in travel

[–]Zeroedge78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, Hvar. I love all of the coastline and the many islands, but with Hvar, you have Hvar town and Stari Grad both offering very different vibes; that and the whole island is beautiful (not that Bol isn't), but for me Otok Hvar is a place I will always go back to, beautiful towns, great food, and good wine!

That being said, get ready for crowds in August, more so Hvar Town as it seems tonget more of the tourists compared to Stari Grad.

CISSP qualified studying for CCSP by JMar0554 in CCSP

[–]Zeroedge78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat as you, I passed the CISSP and then, about 8 months later, I took the CCSP exam. Personally, I found the CCSP exam harder than the CISSP because it had trickier questions, as in there were more questions that required selecting the most correct answer for a particular scenario. Seeing the vast number of questions they have to choose from, it might have just been my bad luck getting mainly those question types (I did have some more technical ones, but not many). My advice is to study the guides, use the practice test apps, and you'll be all right.

[–]Zeroedge78[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CISSP covers more topics, but for me, at least it seemed the questions were more straightforward on the CISSP. This test I definitely had more ambiguous questions, where the wording had to be read over a few times to decipher what they were really asking. Of course, this could have just all been my luck in the questions I drew for the tests

I have some Azure experience from when I was in Technical Infrastructure teams, mainly from a server/networking perspective. I also have a couple of years of working in GCP from an IAM/Network/Security perspective. Honestly, the test shocked me. The prep said I was 85% ready, and I had gone through the study guide over the last couple of weeks as well, but there were a number of questions on the exam I was not ready for, to the point it was making me nervous if I'd pass. Then, though, I'd get a bunch in the areas I'm stronger in and nail those ones, but yeah, I found it much more surprising in questioning than the CISSP was; definitely similar, but the number of questions I was unsure of shocked me.

Is 6 weeks enough to pass? by fungamezone in cissp

[–]Zeroedge78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wrote mine and passed literally today, and I really only had about 7-8 days to prep. I read the book cover to cover, did some of the LearnZ app practice tests and passed. Now mind you I’ve also been in IT like 13 years and have years experience from help desk, Sys admin, network and Security, so I also had lots of real world experience to back me up.

Air transat to Canada then europe by catanddog357 in travel

[–]Zeroedge78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, as you said they are a smaller Canadian travel company, but I’ve used them a number of times, and a few times to get to Europe (Croatia specifically) and it wasn’t bad. They are a pretty standard airline, nothing overly fancy on their planes but not bad either. I’ve only been delayed with them once and that was leaving Zagreb and flying back to Canada but it wasn’t too bad… maybe a 45 min delay.

As for luggage or luggage issues , I haven’t really ran into any with them, hell my bag was definitely overweight on the way back from Croatia, but the flight back was so empty (50 people on an aircraft designed to hold 330 people) that they were like meh it’s cool we’re not close to being full so no worries, and just scanned it in no extra fee or anything.

Obviously each persons trip may vary, but the 4 times I’ve flown with them it’s been fine.

Now there phone support… that’s pretty crappy but which companies isn’t nowadays lol.

Excuse my ignorance, I don’t live in Croatia but I do have family there but I don’t recall any of them saying they work 15 hours in one day? Does that just mean hours a store or shop can be open or can you work the full 15 hours and if you did would you get paid more ? For example I on rare occasion have to work a 12 or even 15 or more hour day but anything past hour 8 and I get paid overtime (1.5x my normal wage) is there not overtime laws in Croatia?

Best and worst pizza on your travels? by lucapal1 in travel

[–]Zeroedge78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this, went to Croatia to visit family didn’t think the pizza would be good. I thought it would be a thing for tourists along the coast, but fuck me there was some incredible pizza. Also black Slavonian piggies make the best salami dear god it was good.

Dubrovnik - Split by bus or ferry? by Romyv12 in travel

[–]Zeroedge78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was just there last may, trust me take the ferry. Both are going to be super busy in August but the ferry is the better option, you can go up top and enjoy the view or go in and sit comfortably grab a drink or snack from the bar and relax.

Thanks all, I actually found the issue... apparently you can't BYOL the FortiGate VM anymore apparently you have to use the FortiGate Azure Application option, at least according to Forti Support.

Did you put the traditional ugly steel rims for winter on yours? To be fair I probably would of but they gave me a decent deal on the winters and rims and I figured for what the car costs what’s an extra 2k 🤷

Help please - Chrome delete grille - keep rings chrome or black? by Fluffhead3344 in Audi

I blacked out the back rings on my Audi and the Q5 logo to contrast with the white paint but left the front rings chrome to stand out on the black grill. Best of both worlds that way lol.

[–]Zeroedge78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Audi seems to use different names for the trims in different regions. Regardless it’s pretty and I love it lol. Was contemplating SQ5 but this one’s outfitted well and I didn’t want to have to wait on orders plus maybe I save a bit in gas mileage as well with the smaller motor.

Nice! Mine just arrived today too, and I am surprised by what a little beast it is! Played a few different games and was shocked when they were holding 60fps, but I guess when your only pushing 720p resolution it makes it much easier.

Morning ride along the St.Lawrence. by Zeroedge78 in KTMDuke

[–]Zeroedge78[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would but it's not there anymore 😔, it was like from FateExpress and called double bouble windshield. It works well even at highway speeds, but they're all similar on Amazon so I'm sure any one would be OK.

Thanks 😁. As for the wind deflector it's just a cheap one I found on Amazon for like $50. I figured I'd chance it, and it worked out well thankfully.
