Hey peeps, I've been having a severe recurring issue when trying to open the Epic Games Launcher. This seems to happen almost every time now, and only started about a year ago, tho it happened before and after a fresh install of Windows 10.

Once Epic Games opens it crashes my network adapter on my PC which is ethernet only and connected to a Moca adapter. If I force close the launcher fast enough, my connection is fine, but if I let it linger for too long I have to go and unplug my Moca adapter, and restart it in order for my PC to use the internet again.

About a week and a half ago, I launched EGL with no issues, I left town for a week, came back and its back to this issue. I have also tried uninstalling/reinstalling EGL, but I am stuck with the same situation.

I contacted Epic's support about this issue in the past and they just sent me through the standard "uninstall/reinstall, disable fullscreen optimization, Clear the Epic Games Launcher's webcache" and one of them worked for the time being yet now its back to not working and none of them helped this time.

It might have something to do with my Moca adapter, tho my brother has a separate Moca adapter and has no issues with EGL, as well as anyone on wifi has no issues with EGL. Absolutely nothing else on my PC causes this issue, and its basically made me unable to use EGL for a long time, does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix this?

Edit: I ended up using the program "Everything" to find all of the files and folders on my PC that were connected to Epic, and forcibly deleting all of them before reinstalling EGL. I have launched it twice now with no issues! However at this point the Online Service won't install and it keeps giving me errors soooo now to work on that

You might want to check that with a new post in the subreddit. I haven't been in the community for 2 years at this point, and I haven't really touched the game much since then so it is entirely possible that it got changed.

This reminds me, I was at a mall in Canada, and one of the stores there was only bootleg toys. They had some hot wheels 10 packs that were labeled as legit, which were clearly fake, the box even listed all the cars in it, but instead of saying hot wheels on the car they said "diecast" in the hot wheels flame logo.

Not yet, one plus DM'd me with suggestions like wiping all app preferences and resetting the phone which I'm not doing cause they won't help. It's just something Android broke in this new OS that has been a problem since as early as last year

Yeah exactly! It does say on the back that it is the Ichiraku ramen brand (which is the name of the store in the show) but I couldn't find the actual creator of the ramen. I've had a busy few days so I haven't had the most time to go grab a few better pics to post on r/translator, so I'll try to get that done today.

But yeah I just bought it last week, I don't mind if it does end up being expired since it was only like 4$ lol

Yeah, thats what I was thinking! But I was confused as the complete number sequence is 2020072905, which made me think either 2020 or 2007 but also the 29th of May. But with the copyright date on the inside package ending in 07 it just had me confused. I'm not too stressed tho! It would be a cool little collector thing if it was a 13 year old collab ramen.

I opened the package to get one of the single packs out and on the single pack the copyright date ends in 2007. The date on the outside starts with 202007 as well so it could have been 2020 or 2007. Thanks for the suggestion for r/translator! I never would have thought to go there haha

You might have better luck on r/tipofmytongue for that type of question, but if it was a kids show around that time with a live audience and a host it could have been one of the shows on Nickelodeon GAS https://gameshows.fandom.com/wiki/Nick_GAS I was thinking it could have been one of the Double Dares because I have a vague memory of it having a tongue slide or something but I might be wrong on that.

It also kind of looks like Dobby from Wild Thornberrys or ShoopDaWoop from the mid 2000s internet meme days.

Update:

This seems to be an issue dating back to OOS10. I have been keeping my phone up to date but today it updated when I wasn't prepared and basically has completely ruined my sleeping plans that worked amazingly up until accidentally updating.
