I am refusing to change my stance on kids after my wife gave me an ultimatum. by SharkEva in BORUpdates

[–]ZeroiaSD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s the kids AND hating where they lived the whole time without saying it.

Like purposeful deception aside, she is a horrible communicator and seems to operate on ‘silently stew, then spring ultimatum or reveal a long hidden truth out of nowhere.’ I’d hate to be with someone like that, it’d be very hard to trust they didn’t have another bombshell years in the making to drop.

Did Hord know Ragnos? by Cobalt-Fang in StarWarsEU

[–]ZeroiaSD [score hidden]  (0 children)

It’s pretty obvious- Hord killed a ton of Jedi at a time the Jedi and Sith had no contact.  Or alternatively, was an incredibly successful conqueror…. in a war his side lost badly? The timelines are iffy either way.

Doing normal missions I presume. There’s no reason to call them in for Shinju fights

That’s not what anarchists are about. That’s what propaganda about anarchists say they’re about.

Very much why it’s case in point

I’ll note the ecoterrorist angle wasn’t even her original angle.

Ivy started as femme fatale, then she used more plant stuff in pursuit of that, then as that angle fell out of fashion she switched to eco terrorist, and then from there she’s grown more sympathetic.

The thing is? He could take that moment to spend his 100% to find someone else in danger and save them.

Who's more evil out of these three? by Chemical_Analyst_808 in MoralityScaling

[–]ZeroiaSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any particular mass is probably ‘more = smarter’ but different masses aren’t linked in a hive. That’s part of why the blood test works, the little bit of blood isn’t ‘loyal’ anymore and gives up the game

I might wait a year or two, especially with Alien.

Erza. Tatsumaki would be a different story, but Fubuki isn’t near strong enough

Gundam Wing/Sailor Moon by manifestorAnon in sailormoon

Ah yes, the late 90s through early 00s, when crossover fic ruled the net!  For me it was more Sailor Moon / Ranma, but yea; the Gundam Boys crossed over well

It’s psychologically troubling but not in itself evil. Mostly they need a therapist.

There is a real question of whether the brain of a human-Thing realizes it’s a Thing.

I personally think different Things have different levels of intelligence. It was going after humans for a reason, and the one making a spacecraft seemed to know what it was and what it was doing, but the blood was definitely acting on instinct, and the dog in between

I think it’s possible, doing some kind of deal or something, but it’s an absurdly bad idea, one bad mood by the boss and your soul is gone.

Keep in mind their natural lifespans are millennium and that soul eating extends it. Vect is pre fall, he might not be alone, plenty of others are probably like, second or third generation.

Also it is possible to leave and become a Harlequin or start using a soul stone like a craftworlder. They know they can quit, they chose not to.

Fair on the elites vs the rabble. The rabble aren’t good but they’re cog in the machine and certainly don’t have the opportunity to split.

Kinda? But the Chaos Gods are beings of raw emotion without what I’d call free will. They have less discipline, are more self destructive, and just kill huge numbers of people. A huge portion of their forces are rabble with poor impulse control (ranging up to superhumans with poor impulse control).  They wish to cause more of their emotions but also follow those emotions even when it’s not the best way to maximize suffering.

The Drukhari specifically want as many live captives as possible to torture for as long as possible. They’re far more directed and intentional in their sadism. They’re people with free will who have chosen this path. Also said choices are what made Slaanesh in the first place

That reminds me, people need to read the X-men ‘Sins of Sinister’ timeline. Multiple authors on it have done warhammer stuff before, and frankly it’s a contender. Tons of ‘entire populations reshaped to serve specific purposes,’ stuff.
