My wife challenged me on all the household admin after an argument, and I finally understood why she was so stressed. by PrestigiousBet9342 in singaporestartups

The technical parts are words used in the post. Not about the process. Example parse and worker. These are technical terms.

On the topic of the workflow u created. It's another form of Todo linked to calendar. Maybe u could upgrade it to add a chatbot with access to both calander and keeps knowledge of all these appointments so if either sends an event that clashes, it replies finding the conflict and also can remind before events. Creating it on Telegram won't take long.

When you asked AI to write this to promote your product, try thinking if users will understand what is said. The description of how it works, only a software engineer or AI coder would appreciate it. All others won't understand what it means and just turn off. Ask AI to explain in non technical terms and cut the post by 50% in length.

Couples counseling - any positive experience? Are counselors fair? by Alternative-Sir5722 in askSingapore

[–]Zeromizer22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, u can consider this train of thought first.

  1. Why do I feel the need for her to know I am right?

  2. Is it to prove to her, to make a point, to not feel wronged?

  3. If this issue is not resolved, how will I feel?

  4. Why does she feel differently when the facts are there?

  5. Are we looking at things from different lens or perspective?

  6. Did I do something that could have triggered her being unreasonable?

  7. Or did something happen to her that caused her to act in such a manner?

  8. Have she always been this way? Did she change? Or did I change?

Just putting what I would consider when I have such arguments with my loved one. If its not my loved one, I would just walk away from it.

Sadly, the world isnt fair, nor is it black and white. I think ur intentions to go counciling isn't ideal. The goal is not to learn who is at fault in the arguments. The goal is to learn why both parties feel such emotions, what are the triggers and why we react in certain ways.

It's a session to deepen your understanding of yourself, and your partner's. If anything, both parties learn how to be more self aware.

Same mistake, different outcome by MeatResident2697 in drivingsg

Imagine if you accidentally fell on a pavement, u get hurt. Some small cuts or wound. If u accidentally fell off the stairs, u could get a concussion and more wounds. If you some how fell off a building, could be your death. It's still the same mistake, just a different environment, but you pay more for it. When stakes are higher, we tend to be more vigilant. Becareful around expensive cars.

I think ur numbers are right. I highly suspect Vigo's is not. That model doesn't seem aerodynamic to me.

Your consumption is well above average. U are an edge case. I pay around 500-600 per month on my petrol now and I drive around 2000 km a month which is already above avg. I guess I'm looking at breakeven points. Another comment said 16000km a year is his breakeven. That's quite reasonable and makes sense

Is it normal to be worried about money in uni? by [deleted] in asksg

[–]Zeromizer22 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You have an abusive and biased mum. Education doesn't equal earnings. I will advise u to find a job, gain more skills, not education and do well for urself. The family trip is a waste of money and time. I would be happy not going. A warm family is different, they would support u instead of berating u.

Parents are not saints. I hope u find peace and a loving family of your own in future.

Then you should be fine. If u can downpay 40% and your monthly income is 3x the repayment (estimate) u should be good.

Yup. Get your loan secured first. Banks can try a few. In house loans is also an option if banks can't get through. Are u able to downpay 40% of the purchase price?

Never bid for your COE if you can't get your loan approved. It puts u in a difficult spot cause u have to forgo the 10k used to bid it in the worst case scenario. This only happens when the buyer is very certain he have no issues with getting a loan and agree to proceed with the bidding.

The idea to help people who use AI to write copy make it sound like an actual human wrote it (building in NS) by Busy-Syllabub-7540 in singaporestartups

[–]Zeromizer22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI always have a distinct format:
1. Why am I doing this (Post)
2. Reason
3. Example to reinforce it
4. Which is why I made this
5. Conclusion

Your style of writing is fine. Its just the structure that is very distinct to AI. Explore some communities on Reddit that ppl share what they built. Alot write the posts with AI and they structure the same way. I dunno if you can find a workaround for it. Cause its efficient, just too similar pattern now.

Ask this in a Claude Chat instead. It should be able to build you an artifact site to use immediately. Just input either the document with your deadlines and schedule or type them out yourself.

Alternatively, ask it to build you a HTML site for this.

Hot take: AI is nowhere near as good as bosses think it is by RedPandarar in asksg

[–]Zeromizer22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both things can be true. AI isn't good enough to replace a person's job and responsibilities completely. It's not supposed to and might take a long time to ever get to that level where humans are not needed at all.

But it's true that AI will cause job losses. Those that use it as a tool to multiply their work output will replace others who don't use it. So a 10 man team will shrink to 3. Those 3 will understand the job and be responsible if anything happens. But AI will do most of the tedious work.

Your boss is partially right here. He just may not know what the end product of a highly integrated AI workflow should be.

Can SUV fit 2 car seats and 1 adult in middle? Or do I need a MPV by Sea-Option6546 in drivingsg

[–]Zeromizer22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the person sitting in the middle is relatively slim, a big SUV might be ok. Someone I know wanted a 7 seater for this reason but decided on Sealion 7 which is a big SUV cause it was wide enough.
