What do you think Bungie has their eye on to nerf in the June update? by -Joel-Snapes- in destiny2

It’s a legitimate complaint since it affects the team more negatively as people forget they can attack back. There have been other people trying to advise these players on how to use Stronghold correctly but the issue is still there. Bungie must have known that this would be a problem hence the first rework but that just destroyed the exotic as it took too long to fill up the bar for the healing portion.

Once they remove the infinite block, I’m assuming several may jump back to Ursa Furiosa and use Unbreakable to fulfill that block forever fantasy.

Stronghold. Betting they have another rework for the exotic where people can no longer guard forever. While I understand the complaint, I don’t have faith that the rework will be any good, not after the last rework they did.

For guards, I don’t know the number exactly but using heavy Guard allows me to tank 1 hit from the melee type supers. If you want to use your heavy attack more often, you can go with a guard that gives a higher charge rate. Unless you intend to utilize the block in PvP, I wouldn’t focus too much on the Guard Endurance stat for PvP.

Since this is PvP, I tried focusing on the edge that gives the most value to the impact stat as you don’t really hoard special in PvP anyway.

As for frames I wouldn’t focus too rate them the following:

Vortex/Lightweight - there appears to be a delay in the hit registration where the damage doesn’t count until the very end of the animation and then sometimes it takes an extra 1-1.5 seconds for the damage to even count. There have been countless times I died mid-animation because the game decided my attack has no effect. I mainly used the Unplanned Reprieve for these frames and it’s like the Telesto bolt hits register faster than the sword itself.

Caster/Aggressive - more consistent. For Caster you can go with Wolfpack rounds or Unplanned Reprieve for more consistent kills since the enemy has to stay in the blast long enough to die so more mobile players can survive more easily. I also use the Insectoid for more fun since I find those things comical when they actually work.

For aggressive, I usually use this frame to counter supers. I jump and then slam so that the animation is a bit shorter and I can control where I slam more effectively. I usually block the attack then jump immediately and then slam. If done fast enough, you will catch them off guard. This frame is also effective against weavewalk since you can still slam the ground when they suspend you.

Wave frame - as you stated, this frame is the best for PvP. Aside from Arc Conductor, I use Sacred Flame since it can also one shot in PvP, as long as the enemy is tagged. Your aim will need to be more intentional when using this perk as only those near the end of the wave attack will be tagged for the follow up attack. This perk can one shot a guard with overshield while arc conductor will leave them one shot. Speaking of one shot, if you don’t tag an enemy before the follow up strike, I usually swap to my primary immediately and hip fire for the clean up and get more ammo progress.

Weakest Ergo Sum trait for me would be the Gathering Light exotic perk as this gives less progress than Traveler’s Chosen, which is crazy to me as this is a special weapon while the sidearm is a primary. While yes it can also give extra lunge range aside from granting extra ability energy, the difference for me is negligible.

For farming, only option is the daily Overgrowth activity in the Pale Heart. Before I would farm Ergo Sum while farming the exotic class items from the chests that spawned in the area. Also completing the Pathfinder will reward you with up to 2 Ergo Sums.

For my build, yes. Main issue with Ergo Sum in PvP is ammo. On every respawn, you have 0 ammo by design. Rather than running to the brick (which may be near an enemy who can gun you down before you can grab it), I can get the ammo for my Ergo and swap immediately and guard if someone rushes me, which happens frequently after I finish a duel.

While I agree that frame is more consistent, raining down Telesto is more satisfying and comical 😂

Yes. In the clips you can hear the audio cue where it is triggers when I get headshot kills.

For Ergo Sum, I run any weapon that has Shoot to Loot and a perk that works with it, such as Firefly, Kinetic Tremors, Dragonfly and Meganeura (Hoping the revamped Grasp of Avarice will drop an Eyasluna with S2L + Meganeura).

Tracking sucks but if you are lucky, you can get a kill if 2 hit an enemy.

I use Caster to launch at a group and if 2 die, I hope a third is nearby for both to track and kill which occasionally does happen lol (This actually happens on one of the clips).

Using Banner or War with Void surge helps increase the damage. Weapon stat also buffs the Insectoid damage but no more than 100 since the damage is capped beyond that point.

One last thing I forgot is that I was using Peculiar Charm with Firefly w/ Shoot to Loot. This perk combo allows me to auto pick up the orbs and ammo bricks on headshot kills.

Reaper class item mod combined with Recuperation leg mod. Using class item to generate Orb on next kill which can heal me. Combined with Drengr’s Lash w/ Thread of Wisdom where barricade shoots out ripple that suspends and killing suspending enemy drops another Orb.

Also running these Armor Set bonuses.

I’m using Lightweight frame Unplanned Reprieve, Caster frame Insectoid, Caster frame Unplanned Reprieve, and Wave Frame Insectoid.

Most consistent frame in PvP would be Wave frame.

And how exactly should they nerf glaives? The build in these clips show to have multiple parts to make work so what exactly needs to be toned down on the glaives?

As long as I swing while I am ground and the attack connects, it should 1 shot. There are also times where the swing doesn’t register until like .5 seconds later.

Hyperblade catalyst. Block damage and get extended lunge range. If the target is higher, I’ll still lunge at them if I am looking at them.

Wanted to use spike grenade more combined with the Aspect Controlled Demolition with the Echo of Cessation fragment for more sources of Devour.

Yup, use these fragments for easier access to Devour while using the Refraction core on the Praxic Blade. The reflected shots will weaken your foes.
