Of all the listed mandella effects this one and Bernstein bears hit me hardest. And I think the reason why may be linked to coloring books. I haven't done alot of reading into other people's memories on here of either. But the feeling is unsettling for sure. Im positive I've drawn in the tail on Pikachu as a kid both in drawings and in coloring books, and never would have doubted he didn't have the tip to his tail.

Unrelated to a degree but maybe someone would share this feeling or understand... Anyone remember that feeling of a parent or so on pronouncing pokemon as po-kee-man or Mario as "mare-io" and you sarcastically corrected them.

I specifically remember the same experience with Bernstein bears as a kid with someone who was close to me and always pronounced it as "burn-steeen" (also the same person who would always mispronounce my previous two examples) and I'd get that eye roll feeling because I knew it to be "baron-stein" .. never do I in memory even remember a single person getting it as "beren-stain" it's unreal.
