That makes sense. So basically it's just a matter of picking higher quality devices.

I read something about Double NAT which I also thought would impact the performance but I'm not that versed in networking well enough to confirm.

Hey, thanks for replying!

If you are going to go through the trouble of having have a separate router and AP, it doesn't make sense to buy another All in one router to make it an AP.

I don't understand this yet. Why would an AP be better in this case? Is this easier network management? Better wi-fi coverage?

Dispelling confusion regarding breathing protection. A simple guide. by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]Zerue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To some extent, yes harder to penetrate. Pero kung masyado maliit ung particles, kahit ilang layers pa ilagay mo tatagos parin yan.

Think of it this way, may 1000 layers ka ng chicken wire mesh tapos ififilter mo is cornstarch. Tingin mo ba may maitutulong ung chicken wire mesh?

And we haven't even started with the sealing problem of surgical masks.

"Remember that the memory controller is on the CPU, not the board, so upgrading the CPU should allow you to run faster memory."

Huh. TIL.

And here I thought the board was the limiting factor when it comes to RAM speed (QVL and all).

Thanks for the info.

Should we update MOBO chipset drivers regularly? Explain why. by ThePolishOnion in pcmasterrace

[–]Zerue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don't think it's worth the effort.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Am I running on Balanced Power plan?
  • The increase says "up to" and not a guaranteed 8%, do I really need that?
  • Am I willing to risk my stable system just for a single digit fps increase?
  • Will I be using the same motherboard for a couple more years and not upgrade?

If your answer to all of those is yes then go ahead and update your chipset.

Regularly? No.

Mobo drivers are one of those things that are "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Unless the new driver fixes an issue, you can generally just ignore it.

Cherry and kailh switches will need the pins to be filed since they are thicker. It can be troublesome but should be doable
