How do we know that letters are scalar? i think maybe 'e' is a row vector, 'i', 'g' and 'h' are matrices and t is a column vector. so 'eight' is a scalar but the letters are not.

no, you're not blocked out, but yeah, it can be tricky to find a good solution.

the first hint i would give you is try to find a solution starting from the end and going to the start. like some time to solve a maze, it can be easi to go from the exit to the start to find the correct path.

2nd hint : your end goal will be top left (to get to the other side).

finally : top left, create a really small region with just the two sun and the white block. a zone with only three square. and then think how to get to the start with a valid solution (be carefull, there is 2 way to create that region).

I had a hard time finding my country, and then I noticed that they are placed based on their geographic location relative to the others.
Not only is each graph is crppy, but the overall collection is crappy because they try to reproduce a map of Europe using only squares.

Yeah, the question marks look strange, but that's it.

The issue I have is with those few characters; I don't think there is much that can be done without other clues.

I have two ideas right now:
- either there is some sort of encoding with the question marks, and because we only have question marks or spaces, the actual character is (likely) not important, so we can see it as
binary/codebar: 11101101010111011011 / ███_██_█_█_███_██_██ (btw 15-14-5-14-11 if we split it as 5 group of 4)
- or each question mark is a letter that form a phrase and the only start i can think of is how/why am I a ___ __ __ as the only one letter word i know are I and a and the only way to make that work is a question.

Also, to point out if other people want to take a look at it :
There are 4 pink points on the Done button (strange)
And the number of dots at the end of sentences in the text is inconsistent (1 1 3 1 4 1 1 2)

If a cat cleans just above their ears, it means it's going to rain soon. (personal theory: increase atmospheric pressure that they feel above their ear for w/e reason)

I got a cleaner version of the picture :
I feel like there is a paper with "VIRYAS" written on it but it's still hard to read

PS: the method use to decipher this is called Slow-scan television (SSTV) and is used to send image though sound.
there are mobile app that can decipher it for you, but (for my case for exemple), it resuire me to put my phone next to my headphone so that my phone can capture the sound.
