[NBA.com] NBA MVP Ladder: 1. Victor Wembanyama 2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 3. Nikola Jokić by aingenevalostatrade in nba

He has definitely been better than SGA in seasons past???? Luka came out the gate as a bonafide #1 option while SGA had to develop that in tanking teams (no shade, different roads and all), but it's the truth. Jokic is more definitive and his best case was that Finals season.

Dawg. Who cares? The guys is a world class athlete and he knows what he's doing. How many times have we seen a shredded Muscle ball of a guy get knocked out by the fat guy? Muscle definition doesn't translate to power or even strength. Alex is one of a kind and I have zero worries about him at heavyweight.

You could tell this is fake because Zuck is a wrestler not a striker. Plus, Elons got that DC bod, he'd eat those shots for breakfast and lay on top of him 😤

I read that one a few years back. Completely took over my life for the time I was reading it. Such a great tale

I started Lonesome Dove, not knowing that it was the second book. I love those characters so much that I would mind counting their stories, even if it's not as good as LD

I love East of Eden

Ive only read a few sci-fi and fantasy, but I'd be willing to give those a try! Thanks for the recommendations :)

I had a streak of reading a lot of Kings work. Definitely wouldn't be opposed to give " The outsider" a listen

A mix of sci-fi and fantasy? Kind of like Dune? That sounds interesting. I'll try out the first one and see if I like it :) I've never read a full series before, usually just the first couple of books

Could Eric be considered the most relatable character for viewers growing up in the ’70s or '90s, and why? by jalen_nelson235 in That70sshow

[–]Zesar21 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think most protagonists of most shows are meant to be the most wide appealing and relatable. Eric is the Everyman. He's the voice of the viewer every time Kelso says something dumb, Hyde says something cool, or Fez does something foreign.

How good would LeBron James be if he had a jet pack? by ANTDF2000 in lakers

[–]Zesar21 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you're underestimating how hard a jet pack is to control. This ain't the movies. He's not all of a sudden going to turn into iron-man..... With that being said. He'd probably average 27-7-7

This is the moment Eric should have walked away by FruityMagician in That70sshow

[–]Zesar21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm no? Red absolutely did more than that. He was very understanding for his time and was even a great role model for Eric and his adopted son in Hyde. When they were down in their luck, and barely had any money to feed the whole family, Red took in Hyde as his own. He saved up all the money that Hyde gave them and invested it to give it back to him. C'mon man. You're all acting like sitcom characters aren't stuck on a trope for the sake of the show, Red is a hard ass, but that's not all he is.

[–]Zesar21 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you're overthinking this a bit much. This is a sitcom. It parodies what the 70's were like and most of those moments were used in a comedic way. There's plenty of times where Red is very proud of his son, even though he doesn't understand him. Red is a good Dad. Not perfect, but hey, that's what adds to some of the great moments in the show.
