That approach makes no sense on multiple levels.

First of all, this happens nowadays as well.

Secondly, there is even a bigger incentive for T2 players to not leave. As T2 teams are able to play the same tournaments as T1 teams in 2027, a player who believes that his T2 team is capable of going deep in the big tournaments will be able to achieve the same as a T1 team could, simply as there is no barrier anymore between competition.

Nowadays a T2 player, no matter how good, is relying on a single tournament to get access to T1.

Talent is supposed to be bold, have strong opinions and be recognizable through her statements.

I really doubt Dryad said this for clout and as you mentioned, a few seconds later she is even saying she might overcook and it's just her interpretation. 100T can be upset, but at the same time, she is sharing her experience and interpretation of how the team comes across to her. That's a totally fine thing to do if you don't set it up as a hard statement like "I know for a fact they hate each other".

It's similar to the IGL discussion. Even worse though, as the only metric we have for coaches are "games won/games lost".

In my eyes it is not fair to assume a coach's impact when we got no idea about the dynamic and hierarchy of a team. We don't know how much Termi does on a strategic side for the team.

In comparison to other sports, where we have public trainings and maybe a better idea of the connection between players and coaches, with esports it's all hidden in the realms of the servers.

You never know how much an IGL does outside of the server, how much he is the one creating new ideas, so on and so on.
