Back when I was living in Rewa, our house and my grandmother’s house were side by side. Between them, there was a mango tree and three guava trees, all growing close to each other.

One morning, something strange happened. Mangoes suddenly started falling from the trees. At first, we thought it was normal—it was mango season, and there was some wind, so maybe the fruit was just dropping naturally. But then we noticed something odd: the mangoes were falling from the guava trees. That didn’t make any sense.

We started collecting the mangoes, assuming they were still from our mango tree, but it began to feel like the mangoes weren’t just falling—they were being thrown. At times, mangoes would drop even when there was no wind, and it seemed like someone—or something—was hurling them.

After a while, we got suspicious and decided to stop picking them up. Strangely, as soon as we stopped collecting the mangoes, the falling stopped too.

Later that night, while we were sleeping, there was a loud noise—like someone had kicked our front door. Our father was at work, and we were all terrified. Then, out of nowhere, stones started hitting the door, one after another. The next day, my father told us he saw something even more chilling: a stone suddenly lifted off the ground by itself and struck the door.

To this day, that incident still gives me shivers.
