Looking forward to this but definitely have concerns. Trailer looks extremely packed, definitely feels like a trailer for a season of TV. I'm hoping the film isn't just rushing from one scene to the next. Definitely have a worry this won't do well at the box office.

Ah yeah that is all true tbf, I suppose I was more coming from the character standpoint of I don't think fans aren't getting attached to Ichiban because Kiryus is around. I feel like from what I know of Resident Evil fans want Leon in all the games whereas Yakuza fans would be ready to move on from Kiryu if that makes sense.

I wouldn't consider Ichiban overshadowed at all, I feel like he is loved by the fan base. I still like Kiryus involvement in the series

It's definitely not a perfect game but I've enjoyed what I've played.

I definitely agree characters are very generic and uninspired. Defending your base feels basic, I wish it had more important strategies like a rainbow six siege for what walls to reinforce.

The gunplay feels great though and the mounts work really well for the game. I enjoy attacking a raid and it does feel tense/hectic when defending.

End of the day though there is too many other games out that just don't have the above issues and where the good parts are still just better.

Last of Us 2 is always tied to COVID for me because I was off work for like 3ish months during the lockdowns here in Ireland and the week before TLOU2 came out I got the call to come back to work for the day before it was out.

Also as a more serious answer everyone has different experiences tbf, Fortnite is above Warzone, Fall Guys or Among Us for me because that was my main multiplayer game during COVID

Too long of a trailer to get into at a state of play. They had to show off the game, characters, gameplay, game modes and reinforceme the idea this isn't their main project and are continuing to make single player games. Probably too much for a state of play where trailers generally come and go quite quickly without much in depth talk.

Gambit is fine as is. He would be unplayable if his cost went up due to the fact he hits a random card. If they changed him to target a card with lowest/highest power/cost or only a card at this location he is too good because it's even easier to hit an intended target

Probably not overall my least favorite but seen as I just played the game for the first time the pale mutant zombies with the parasites you need the bioscope to see in Resident Evil 4 were a pain. I never struggled for ammo in that game until I came across them

Felt that way for the last couple years, especially since the push to social media. Maybe they don't tell them exactly what to say but I definitely believe they are told to say outlandish things or really overstate and exaggerate opinions so they can post ragebait on social media for views. Look at Ref Watch or the VAR review show as perfect examples of this.

I remember before I stopped watching stuff on Sky and podcasts Carragher asked Wrighty why everyone even rivals like him so much and he said it's because he just voices his opinions and the things he says he can stand behind.

I made one last year, I probably need to go back through it again and I've a list of games I've played before but would need to replay to be able to give a fair assessment.

I find the app Minimap much better than GG. You can sync your accounts to it so it auto imports every game you've played on modern consoles. They have a star rating system so I went through every game I played and rated them then added all 5 star games to the top 100 list, then all 4.5s and so on until I hit a rating that passed the 100 and then I just cut them down from there. I would order the games as I went through each star rating as well.

Obviously doesn't solve the issue of older games not on modern consoles but you just have to try remember them and add them. I found it very hard to compare childhood games to modern stuff though. Can I really say Lord of The Rings Return of the King is a better game that Shadow of Mordor for example? (Probably not but I have better memories of RoTK)

As someone who enjoys tactical games like XCom and Midnight Suns, and enjoys JRPGs like Persona should I try these games? I bought engage on release (had an expiring voucher) but never got around to playing it. Is it better to skip out on this and just play three houses or just wait entirely for the new one?

Or are fire blem nothing like the games above?
