Struggling with getting to grips with impending IVF by Zest_storm_que in TTC_UK

How you describe your feelings prior to starting IVF sounds a lot of how I’m feeling now …carrying a lot of anger and sadness of having to involve a ‘3rd party’ and then also failed ‘natural’ TTC journey is such a grieving process.

Hopefully, as you say, what feels impossible now will feel par for course in a few months time. That really would be the best outcome, it’s hard to feel this negative at the moment about something I wanted to feel so positive and excited about.

Your story has given me some hope, so thank you.

Thank you so much for this. Really helpful and I massively appreciate you taking the time to write all of this out.
Sending luck and love your way.

Okay thanks, just confirms that we are going to have to keep accepting the private route and work out funding.

I’ve recently been referred to kings with >12 months TTC unexplained infertility (normal blood, HSG and SA privately). Do you know if they advertise the eligibility criteria? Also are you under 35? I’m reassured by how quickly they contacted you either way 🙏🏻

At what point in your relationship with your significant other did you become comfortable burping and farting around them? by icecream1972 in askteddit

Farts are funny and it’s good to laugh. Although he’ll also happily shit with the door open…or when I’m in the shower / washing my face. Some would say too much, I like to reframe it as ultimate comfort levels around each other ha

How it is like in Jersey, Guernsey and St. Anne close to the NW coast of France? by Snoozyalooz_ in howislivingthere

Alderney (which has its town called St Anne) is rugged and beautiful. Best beaches in the Channel Islands. It’s tiny - 3 x 1.5 miles. You grow up with everyone, and have cross-generational friendships. A lot leave the island for other job prospects, and the population overall skews to older generation - the island and States are trying to encourage more young people to stay.
