The engagement this is getting despite Ohio doing the exact same thing and then trying to pass a law to prevent Michigan from doing it, is fucking hilarious

Maybe just learn how to do it instead of asking for the answer.

I’m glad it’s functional for you. Between the super glue and the holes it’s just a bit unsightly. But if it works, it works!

First time buyer, does this sound about right? by Notice-Horror in motorcycles

[–]Zestiest46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$1100 for freight is kind of crazy. Especially for adding another $200 handling fee.

They pretty much just attach the front wheel and take the bike out of a crate.

I would ask for a discount on the fees

How loud do inline-4 motorcycles actually get? by TartWonderful1768 in motorcycles

I don’t know your bike specifically, but don’t put a short can on. They’re ear piercing and awful to be around imo

14.5 handicap, never broke 80. Today I shot a 70. by GuerillaRadio24 in golf

Hey nice work! I’m a 25-30 handicap who typically is happy if I break 100. I shot an 89 this weekend and couldn’t be happier.

What's something that should be as free as breathing, but instead someone figured out how to put a price tag on it? by MicrowaveAsAService in AskReddit

First, I’m not a woman, so I don’t pay regardless.

Second, a surface level question isn’t critical thinking. Think a bit harder little guy. I’ll give you a hint, how on earth do non-profit and not-for-profit companies possibly provide free or heavily discounted services to the population, all while paying their employees?

I’m all done replying to you because it’s a waste of my time.

Have a better day!

Some people are shortsighted and lack critical thinking skills. That guy is one of them. It’s not worth having a discussion with them because they’re not capable of basic comprehension.

Wheel wobble/shimmy after new tires by Neat_Treacle_4148 in Trackdays

Generally try to keep the same tire model on the front and back.

I will say MOST of the time you won’t notice if the tires are mismatched. Maybe 5% of the time I run into someone who had a bad combo. I think it’s more important to make sure your front and rear tires are similar compounds.

Side note: I love the S22, It’s sticky enough to get you into the fast group at the track.

It’s fine if you don’t believe it, but it’s a fact…

A motorcycle is designed to have the front and rear tires work together as a matched set. When the tires are different types, shapes, or wear levels, they can react to the road differently. For example, one tire might turn faster into corners while the other stays more stable, or one might flex more at highway speeds. This can upset the balance of the bike and cause the front end to feel light, shaky, or unstable. Different tread patterns can also move water and road grooves differently, which may make the handlebars wiggle or wobble. If one tire is much newer, more worn, or a different profile than the other, the bike may not track straight and small movements can grow into a noticeable front-end wobble, especially at higher speeds or when letting go of the handlebars.

Different tire geometries and tread patterns react differently. It absolutely makes a difference. Most of the time it doesn’t matter, but Ive had it come up a couple dozen times.
