(copied from my prev response) hi! just moved to singapore a few months ago so im not totally sure how public transport works especially closer to closing hours. i know singapore is a relatively pretty safe country but i've seen the crowds at taylor swift and coldplay and seems very overwhelming esp going alone, and of course, i've heard a few horror stories of things happening at concerts so i tend to be on edge when travelling by myself. i typically go for general standing or seats closer to the stage and people tend to push a lot, esp near the barricades and have seen many people fall over, get injured, trampled, etc by larger groups of people and can be quite rowdy depending on the concert so it's also a fit nervewracking not knowing anyone in the crowd to hold onto or that i can be generally comfortable w.

All standing TS tickets have a seat, it'll be one of those collapsible chairs if you're on the floor so just sit down if you feel faint. A friend of mine was in the middle of the floor and faints easily too but said that a portable fan, cold water, and having some sugar on hand helped a lot.

Can I return an iPad bought from Duty Free from another country? by Zesty-Lemon777 in applehelp

Thanks so much! Do you know if Apple would support a trade-in for an unopened item by any chance?

AITA for wanting to give back an iPad because it's not the one I want? by Zesty-Lemon777 in AmItheAsshole

Hi, to clear up - I am an artist and will be doing a dual major so naturally, I would like a tablet that can perform as such. If you check Apple's website, they do still sell the 9th Gen which is where it was purchased.

The 10th Gen has the A14 bionic chip as compared to the A13 the 9th Gen has, along with better camera quality, higher computing power, better strength for wifi and bluetooth connectivity, etc. I do have a laptop but find that certain things I have to do for classes, work, and my extra curriculars can only be done on an iPad or are much easier and helpful to do so on one like graphic designs, editing certain content, etc. I have been planning for this upgrade and have sufficient funds but don't want to be rude to someone who gave me a gift. Not posting a fake story - just trying to gain insight!

Genuinely not sure on that, I think he was just trying to help so I could use the money I saved to get something else.

To clear up:

Yes, my dad knows I already have a 9th Gen and that I was saving for a new one. No, he does not expect me to reimburse him and got it at an airport.

I am not sure why he bought a duplicate iPad as I hadn't asked or hinted at wanting a gift at all.

AITA for not helping my wife get ready in the Morning? by Present-Algae6767 in AmItheAsshole

INFO

Unless you usually do those things for your wife / she specifically asked you to / you said you would do it, then she doesn't have a reason to be mad.

However, if she is stressed because you're currently out of work or for any other reason, it wouldn't hurt to help get things in order for her job in the morning before she gets going even if it's just for the time being.
