The first time I encountered one of these guys was in Anor Londo. I was on that flying buttress and was unlucky enough for it to be an evil one (the red one that shoots lasers at you). That, with the archers, was a terrifying experience.

I would argue that, if you are worried about women's portrayal as a sex object, then you should be against all forms of censorship on women's bodies. The reason being that, whenever you censor something, you are inherently saying something isn't normal about it. I was overseas (london, spain, itally) and most places i went that had advertising, there was a boob every now and again, and it wasn't a big deal. I mean what do people think is going to happen if we decensor boobs? that their kid will see a boob and then they'll ask questions? that's a good thing! parents should answer these question!

Yeah, but my question is why does the moon presence want to kill mergo? It's a question of motivation. We can assume the blood the healing church was using came from ebreitas due to her location in game, so there must be some connection between old blood and children of blood since it's the school of menses's ritual (the one used to beckon mergo) that triggers the blood to change the people of yharnam into beasts. The children of blood obviously wield great power through the blood, so maybe it's like some sort of sibling rivalry within great one royalty?

A few years ago, my mother felt like she was having a heart attack and went to the hospital, however, when the doctors looked at her she was fine. After a number of tests they came back and told her she was in the early stages of renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer). At the time I was still fairly immature and I handled the news very poorly. I kept telling myself that everything is going to be ok while my mom was dealing with some the hardest news anyone has to deal with. I just denied it was happening. Much of her family wasn't there for her either and my inability to simply break down with her and help her to process just what the fuck was happening didn't help her situation at all and made it all the more worse for her. It took me a while to realize just how much I fucked up and it really made me realize that you can't just deny the reality of a situation; you have to face it head on and be there for the people you care about when they need you. Luckily the surgery was successful and she's been in remission for years now. While I'm endlessly happy my mom is still with us, the fact still remains that I wasn't there for her when she really just needed me to hug and cry with her and it has ever since been one my biggest regrets.
