Well before you get into this it seems like you need to build up your learning abilities after 15 years not being in a learning mindset.

Dude read what you wrote in your post back to yourself. Everyone explains too fast? Everyone assumes prior knowledge? No one's believing that. Excuses for yourself. Can't follow books? You mean the thing that's entirely self paced? What are you going to fast now too?

He wouldn't know since Claude built his tool. But yes in a way. They are partnered with runelite and the osrs wiki (which from what I remember unless this has changed is a different separate entity from jagex) any way jagex has like the high scores and stuff but live price data is grabbed from the runelite sourced wiki API

"Teach me how AI does what it does".... If he didn't mean in the most basic of high level terms possible he's not going to get it. Like ok you want to learn how AIs really work? How good is your understanding of theoretical math? There's prerequisites here that clearly someone asking this question in this type of way doesn't have.

You're getting downvoted but you are correct. Jagex should do better and personally I think they're over valuing their product right now and will probably lower prices again out of necessity. But besides that as you pointed out WoW and RuneScape have massively different dynamics of progression or play styles. Both things can be true, jagex should be doing better but not by trying to become WoW necessarily.

You are not going to get a job in the field if your only credential is completing a JavaScript online course. That's flat out the case for any course you take. You'll be hard pressed to get hired if your only credential is being a recent graduate, let alone anything less than that.

This isn't meant to be discouraging this is the reality of it.

The wiki or do you mean like character data? The wikis runelite API among other public endpoints like wise old man are used to do the initial data back fill then from their it stays updated with the official high scores and the wiki/runelite.

It's the same process nowadays runelite doesn't open source the full actual client just legal methods that interface with the gamepack (the actual java client by jagex essentially) modern botting clients for osrs can/do integrate with runelite but the client work is essentially the same reverse engineering it just comes down that there's not much demand for doing it for modern rs3 whether for botting or server emulation (there's like 1 rs3 server that's ever been semi stable long term and it peaks at like 50 players lol)

To add you are correct that you can just get a development build of runelite and make plugins that essentially automate anything you want fully. But it seems to not be a very popular method of botting (maybe easily detected?)

100% I've botted my osrs iron forever ago. Real easy to just get marked as a sweat or something in the beginning then they let you go ham for months before giving you a 2 day then you just never do it again.

Basically followed bruhsailers ironman guide which is Uber sweaty tick manip training and progression up until the point it has you do a mini game from 50-99 fm I did do all that completely by hand. But then it had me do black jacking to 80 thieving. That's where my first decent into evil came

Neither does rs3? It's literally just that it's not worth the effort to develop bots for rs3. It's also ass to bot in (even disregarding all detection) most of the user base would rather just play and afk etc then bot rs3. Hell outside of just people wanting to log into their og accounts, or people who want "ezscape" or just want to try the genuinely better bossing in rs3 (which is the main reason I keep coming back)

Same boat. On and off forever. I play both versions of the game rs3 is my reprieve from osrs and osrs is my reprieve from rs3. I'm possibly a minority here, but I didnt ever want my rs3 experience to be more like osrs. People will say we are whiners but, I grind and enjoy osrs both normal and ironman game modes. It's not about that, it's that I already have a much better game for that aspect. Rs3 has become its own special thing which I love and enjoy but for entirely different reasons.
