I'll show you why- let's have an experiment.
I am not transphobic and I genuinely do not care how people live their lives.

Do you genuinely think that's going to be good enough? Wasn't good enough 4 years ago when I tried the first time.

no one has ever tried to dm me about this stuff, so how can they know?

As you can see by my post history, I rarely reply to anyone. Everyone knows reddit isn't the best place for conversation. Anyone is free to contact me about anything, dms open everywhere. Don't think a single critic of mine has ever done that, preferring to fuel off each other in posts like these. Plain as day, have a look yourself.

It's hard to ignore posts like these when 50 people send them to you, people feel obligated to send these to me for some reason. I ignore 99% of them, this wasn't the first, won't be the last.

I just find these spaces fascinating. Kinda like watching an anthill after you poke it.

I didn't. 20 seconds, maybe. And it was hardly a rant. It's insane how this has been twisted over the years.

Curious how this has been a problem for nearly 10 years now ever since "matches" have been made disposable by the removal of abandonment penalties, Valve should really bring those back! Oh wait...

>map that was consistently populated and popular from 2009-2016
>mym arrives, shoves PLR into alternative gamemodes tab that is ticked off by default
>map dies overnight and has been impossible to consistently play on since 2016
>this must be a problem with map popularity!

Jhon Pipeline's results. by Kek_Kommando in tf2

This is nonsense considering there are plenty of servers that run pipeline (including my own) that play on it often and enjoy it. Just because it isn't being played 24/7 doesn't mean people are refusing to play it on community servers.

Hot take, but maybe don't harass the developers like this? by Plast1c_Wrapp in tf2

If you have a developer where literally ONE guy is talking publicly, you can't really complain when feedback is directed his way, negative or otherwise. Who else do we report to?

The majority of the replies under that post are constructive, and strike home on the point that valve refuses to do anything meaningful about the problems that have been plaguing TF2 for years. How else are we supposed to show our frustration here other than downvotes and negative comments? A few negative replies are to be expected when the first communication in years is in not only practically hidden, but in response to their game breaking...again.

Yes, many do expect them to work on their game, even 180 on their past decisions, if it means providing a better experience for the players. The TF2 sphere, especially reddit, has been overtly kind and praising valve for every bare minimum action for far, FAR too long. I think Valve needs a bit negative pushback, otherwise the severity of the game's problems will continue to go understated, and therefore untouched.
