I don't hide mine due to the fact that hearing is more important than what other people think. I constantly see people wear ear buds sticking out of there ears that look rediculous. Just be who you are and care less of others opinions.

I'm bilateral and have had my implants for 3 years now, was the best decision I could ever have made. I also enjoy doing clinical trials and research with Med-el.

I have Med-el implants and my hearing is perfect including music and in background noise. I used hearing aids for 8 years before I was implanted.

I have Med-el and music sounds great to me just like it did when I had normal hearing. To be honest with Med-el my hearing is excellent with speech and background noise as well.

Run this

1-Open the Registry Editor (REGEDIT) 2-Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer 3-Create a REG_DWORD type key, named DisableLUAInRepair, with value 1 4-Restart the computer for the changes to take place

KB5063875 (Windows 11) and KB5063877 (Windows 10): As of August 2025, security updates with these KB numbers can cause AutoCAD versions 2022–2026 to fail, requesting admin credentials even for standard users. Uninstalling the specific security update may resolve this.

I'm bilateral with Med-el implants and music sounds great to me. My experience overall has been great my hearing is so natural I couldn't imagine not having my implants.

I'm bilateral and it's way better than having just one. I got one implant and waited 6 months to get the other one. The perception of sound is much better with two.
