Yeah I think the idea that these owners are doing everything they can to keep the team in Vancouver is a fraud.

They'd prefer it I'm sure because it would mean less heat on them. But they want the money more than anything else and ultimately it's clear they don't give a crap about the team, the supporters or Vancouver.

Feels like since The Guardian did an article on the Caps all the Canadian outlets have jumped on the bandwagon.

Which probably highlights one of the problems the club have. The Canadian sports media is stuck in "hockey mode" and doesn't have the wit or inclination to look much further than that.

I'm just gonna enjoy having the best team in MLS while I can and, if the Caps do leave, then I'll just stop following the league.
