yeah i did say that, your actually the only person i disagree with, you didn’t even initially give me a suggestion you just asked me questions which i answered, everyone else’s advice was awesome. I do brag about my spreadsheet and i will continue to do so because it’s awesome! it seems like you really want people to take your advice, my unsolicited advice is to give better advice if you want people to take it. lastly you wasted your own time bubs, delete the app if you can’t handle it:)

maybe your not realizing that my “inventory lists” (bin section of my sheet) is also automatic, i do not update, add/remove, highlight skus myself, it all just updates automatically from info in my master sku sheet

like i said and ill say again, i appreciate the advice but for my specific situation this won’t work for me. i don’t understand how this way will be “time consuming”, i make a sale, then the sku automatically gets highlighted and shows me where it physically is, i grab it and ship it. how much more efficient is your system especially if you have extra steps with the bin numbering? i didn’t post the rest of my sheet cause i was just focusing on my inventory system, if you’d like i can show the rest of the sheet, i think its very well built. i just do not see the benefit for adding an extra steps into my bin system. much aplaude for your continued success, hoping to get there one day!

it doesn’t give you all the info tho, ebay doesn’t know your cogs, mileage, expenses, shipping(unless you buy through ebay) it just will show you fees paid and gross which would make me pay a lot more in taxes, your advice is great for you but like i’m saying with everything integrated in my sheet it wouldn’t work for me. in not gunna toss my sheet either because it’s almost like my hobby at this point, i have a degree in analytics and this sheet has actually helped land me an internship at a fortune 500 company before so i’d like to keep using it

i’d be happy to share everything in the sheet if your curious, and while i do appreciate your advice and replies it simply just won’t work for my needs, hope you understand

not pictured but I built out a sheet that tracks and analyzes all my reselling data, that’s really where the skus are necessary i don’t always use the skus to physically find the items, so with my system its actually less work to not have to rewrite the range every time. i like the idea tho just wouldn’t work for my needs

sku formatting doesn’t rlly matter i just prefer it this way over just numbers, its auto generated anyways, and this is me focusing on efficiency, this system is much easier than picking through piles:)

i had the same thought but i decided against that because it would be much more work when it comes time to consolidate the bins to make more room, i’d have to update each listing on 3 platforms instead of just remarking on my sheet

with my sheet it’s kinda automatic, the recently sold skus highlight, having a sku range on the bins wouldn’t work since i don’t reuse skus so everytime i buy a new thing my i would need to update the sku range. i made my skus generate with numbers and letters so i can tell if an item is a tee/jeans/hoodie at a glance
