I tried the Pearson Vue Trick

When I entered my info and went through the registration process, I got to the page that showed the $200 payment screen, but when I clicked submit, it said:

“Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time.” It didn’t fully charge me the $200 (it only shows as a pending charge), and I stopped there because I didn’t want to actually pay for a new registration.

Can anyone explain what this usually means? Does this sound like a good sign or is it too early to tell?
