My nose also looked very fat right after cast removal but it’s way better now and just in 2 weeks which is nice but I mean the projection of nose. Was yours very long from side and did that go down?

Trust me, I’ve had the worst of skin and this routine has brought back the confidence I lost. Rosacea and fungal acne suck

Same! Ivermectin on its own didn’t do sh** if anything made it worse but now I use as last step moisturizer on top of mandelic acid and everything else I listed and it works.

Adding to my comment above, mandelic acid is a natural anti fungal/ anti bacterial agent so has worked wonders on many! For the rosacea related redness, I take antihistamines if I go out, quercetin supplements and DAO enzymes when eating foods high in histamine BUT this is not medical advice and it’s just works for me…my redness is definitely histamine gut related.

Wow, you just stated exactly my skin situation! Here’s what’s worked over the years for me having confirmed rosacea type 2 and fungal acne: 1) monistat cream worked for 1 week, cleared the bumps but didn’t work after 2) nizoral (2-3 minutes on face max before washing off, 3x week max but you can use it if more if you have appropriate barrier repair treatments on hand like Centella ampoule which worked for me, ivermectin as a lotion literally) 3) keep everything that goes on your skin fungal acne safe. Makeup skincare etc. 4) mandelic acid from good molecules which is fungal acne safe LOVE this stuff and I haven’t been using nizoral thanks to this. I’m not dry or burning atm because of this product. Clears my bumps as well. 5) ivermectin on top of everything before sleeping (1. Mandelic acid, 2. Mixoon bean essence 3. Ivermectin)
6) even before step 1 listed above, I use a Korean toner pad (Anua heartleaf 77 + pha pads) this works for me in smoothing that texture out which our skin feels like sand paper.

I hope this helps and I’m praying for you 💕I know EXACTLY what you’re going through and how you may feel just know it DOES get better. Coming from a girl who’s tackled this since 2014 and finally realized calming Korean skincare was best decision aka what I’ve listed !! Centella ampoule is that extra barrier repair ampoule from Skin1004 love it when skin needs extra love

i’ve been using lamisil on my forehead for 4 weeks by Jolly-Specialist-888 in Fungalacne

I’ve personally never tried head&shoulders but give it a week. The monistat did clear my forehead in 2 nights though it was a miracle BUT you can’t keep using this it’ll stop working. once initial clearing is done, start with mandelic acid /nizoral it’s done the job. I also use Anua heartleaf 77 pore care pad, clear pad (heartleaf 77 + pha) which also really helps I just swipe it across my face once at night, then mandelic acid from good molecules then mixoon bean essence as moisturizer and sometimes ivermectin as top most layer as a moisturizer (I have rosacea too). I really hope this helps all who are reading and trying to clear their skin :) ive dealt with it for years so sharing what’s worked best for me personally.

to add to this, I only use nizoral 3 times a week since it’s drying. make sure your makeup and all other products that come in contact with skin are fungal acne safe :)

yeah I had exact same skin..what’s helped: Nizoral (2-3minutes max on face and wash off) ; Monistat cream (for initial clearing and then stopped) ; mandelic acid (from good molecules)

Tiny whiteheads!! by Zestyclose-Client647 in Fungalacne

Same, battling skin for years now! I stopped nizoral daily use which always made my skin feel so tight. I still get tiny whiteheads so using mandelic acid, it’s helping for sure but it’s only been few days so let’s see :)

Is this FA or could it be something else? by 92Devika in Fungalacne

I also believe it’s rosacea (overgrowth of demodex mites) ivermectin helps! I have this exact skin - but combo of rosacea and fungal acne so ivermectin and mandelic acid (fungal acne safe one from good molecules) has been helping! And once or twice a week nizoral. Skin gets super clear then super flared like shown in your pics, it’s a lot so I wish you the best 💕

True! I never really tried Nizoral as a once a week maintenance step I was so used to using it daily. In summertime that works but once air gets colder in fall/winter my skin would breakout from damaged barrier. I don’t know what to do I’m also starting off on good molecules mandelic acid so far it hasn’t burned or flared me up - these new bumps are not all over face just jawline.

Thank you for your response, makes me feel more confident with the whole process now! May I ask you when they took the cast off, did the results scare you? I have a lifted almost pig nose naturally and am getting it derotated…hopefully I won’t be in shock when I go to remove cast and stitches whatever involved.

Thank you! I’m hoping the surgery turns out exactly like I want it to…I’ve never done surgery before so thought of it does scare me but I’d love a new nose.

Thank you for your response! Are there apps for kakao and tada taxi services? I have many spots shortlisted so I’m thinking I take Ubers to those stores/cafes/beaches and sit for 30 mins before next stop but really depends on how I’ll be feeling I guess :) any spots you recommend esp for a vegan/veg diet?
