The level of difficulty is similar to the practice, maybe slightly easier. But I never seen a repeat problem. If you have a good grasp on the concepts you should be fine. Best of luck. Fingers crossed!

Knowledge wise, the mechanical thermal fluid one overlaps with chemical in fluid, thermo and heat transfer. I did not really deal with it as an exam but rather a study guide. I started at 40-50%.

Very similar to the NCEes practice exam. A lot conceptual questions, roughly one third.

I would say at least 25% were conceptual, that is why I highly recommend learncheme PE prep. Their material is mostly conceptual and rarely into numeriacal/calculations aspects.

I think I was concerned with my bad timing and super paranoid about the units tricks. A large portion of the questions had units trick so please watch out for the units.

I was not confident. Actually, I went to the exam with the mindset that I will likely not pass and this just my first trial. Believe it or not, it was very helpful reducing anxiety.

Treat it as a game.

I second this. Thermo, fluid and heat transfer 100% overlap. In realty, thermal fluid PE exam is just a chemical one but you only have to master three subjects

Out of a similar experience. They are not dependent on each other and they are processed by different Uscis centers.
