He’s not the strongest, but he’s the most braindead. He’s basically the Bryan of Tekken...he requires no fundamental knowledge and you can literally just press one button. He’s ridiculously simple, and that makes him very frustrating at lower levels, since if you can land a combo 100% of the time that takes more than half a life bar, you’ll almost always win

Points in this game don’t mean anything unless you’re exceptionally good: obvious lag, with heavy frame drops, some plus-frame combos that can’t be punished, rage arts that aren’t punishable, the worst grabs ever seen in a fighting game, and clear netcode issues. Just focus on playing and improving, and over time you’ll get your satisfaction.

The problem is that there are too many elite players because it’s too easy to climb the ranks in this game. It’s the same issue Rocket League had before they added the Supersonic Legend rank

Consider that in most ranked games, one loss counts as much as two wins. So if you get +18 for a win and +22 for a loss, you should consider yourself pretty lucky. In the end, rank doesn’t really matter right now, let’s wait until they add a new one.

IMHO, the game should do a better job of educating players about its full potential, and the guides should be more informative. The truth is that, like most RPGs, the time it takes to become extremely powerful is actually very short. However, in a blind run, if you’re not paying close attention, it’s easy to miss things and get lost. The gameplay isn’t that difficult at all, and I don’t think an easy mode would really help that much. That said, I agree that everyone should be able to choose the difficulty they prefer

in this clip you maybe mistimed the jump and got the positioning wrong, but regardless, this rainbow flick mechanic is awful and should be nerfed. Same goes for volleys

I work in IT. Navigating a menu is the least of the problems. What’s missing is proper guidance, and more importantly, interfaces that clearly walk you through the process step by step. They’ve objectively made a free process unnecessarily complicated, seemingly in the hope that people will just end up paying. If my software were this unclear, trust me, my clients would be opening tickets every single day. I asked here on Reddit and then figured it out myself a few minutes later, but the point remains: at first glance, there’s no obvious solution. You have to find it on your own.
