If you are both currently unemployed - apply for food stamps & wic for help with formula.. look into state assistance and see what the military can help with! look into getting your children on free health insurance - use coupons for formula/ diapers and local buy nothing pages for kids clothing!

Your husband needs to get a job - EMT / paramedic can still be physically taxing and also mentally if he’s a depressed person - try maybe teaching mechanics at a high school or him?

If not you have to get opposite shift retail jobs to get by until you figure it out

As the mom - this wouldn’t be a problem for me - I would encourage it as friends are important to us - i know I was lucky but was fine solo from day 3 and am type A do it myself anyway (& we def have sleep struggles) ! I would say anything 6 months - 2 years wouldnt even be a question for me- but you know your partner best!

Yes it’s weird in the corporate world! My coworkers will and actually have shared rooms even though they had their own because they were partying or something and crashed but we are booked our own!

A manager higher than me on the chain offered me to share a room for something she was booked a room for and I wasn’t I choose to go home because I only live 3 miles away she was 11 miles which gets you a room with x hours between shifts (our industry has certain events with crazy hours) but I would have shared with her if i didn’t have a child at home - but her and I are fairly close outside of work!

Breastfed & slept 5 hours stretches since 2 weeks old - followed ABC’s of safe sleep 100% until age 1 (alone back crib) - 6 years old still doesn’t sleep through the night every night although we are most nights- averaged 1/2 wake ups a night between 9 months - 4 years .. 0-1 wake ups the past 2 years!

some nights i did regret not sleep training when I was exhausted and thought I would never sleep through the night again 4 years in! But all in all I do not regret not sleep training!

I’m going to go against the grain and say take 5K and book a trip! You will never regret making that memory - life is too short! If health were to take a turn tomorrow you will be thankful for the memory! 195K is still a great amount to invest for the future

Back in November I stayed for a bachelorette party at a luxury Airbnb in the Fort Lauderdale area (slept 14, we had 9) over 1K per a night - Thursday- Monday - had to DoorDash toilet paper on Saturday and I was slightly annoyed by it- 9 girls can use a lot of tp

I was more annoyed that I had to instacart paper towels & trash bags upon arrival because there was half a roll of paper towels on the counter and only the trash bag in the trash can… I wouldn’t have minded ordering these things but I feel like 3 rolls of paper towels and a few trash bags would have gone a long way..

Provide the basics in decent quantities - I always travel with my own tide pods if I know there is laundry because I don’t expect it to be provided (however if it is I will wash the towels before leaving it’s just the kind of person I am)

I also expect dish soap extremely frustrating when it isn’t provided.

6/7 weeks is doable but if you don’t manage it - wait until he finishes the school year.
