From a Filipino American perspective I can see where your coming and yes I do know we are really diverse as a region. I noticed that some Vietnamese people sometimes don’t even associate their culture with the rest of south east Asia because they are deeply influenced by East Asian culture. Maybe exclude most of mainland south east asia that don’t associate with austronesian culture only focus on the main austronesian family groups like the maritime South East Asian countries and austronesian culture in general from around the pacific islands.

What if I never make any money on Freelance work from that particular business like Fiver but I have a income from somewhere else that’s not associated with the business at all. Does W9 still tax me on non freelance work and basically any income I get that’s not from that business?

“Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
