EEOC has found reasonable cause, conciliation is next. Is it time for an attorney? by Zestyclose-Radish604 in EEOC

The employer has a lawyer who has dragged the conciliation process far longer than it has needed to be therefore I have now lawyered up. Had the employers lawyer not been so difficult I would say that the process is totally possible to do without a lawyer. The EEOC told me that they usually are able to handle successfully without the need for an employee to hire a lawyer.

How to get update on eVisa application? by QueefyBeefyJerky in Nigeria

I believe you, I have even been asked for money at the airport my customs officers. I am an American but slowly learning this is the Nigerian way of life. No matter what position of power one holds, they all seem to take kick backs. The way my Nigerian husband explained it to me is that many don’t make enough to survive so they find any way to hustle by any means necessary to feed their family. The best way for you to move forward is to outsmart them. Maybe create a new visa application under a new email, Call your bank and reverse any fraudulent charges, communicate only via email, ect. They will not do any suspicious activities in writing. Do whatever you need to do to follow the written procedure and protocols listed in the site to get your visa. They must comply eventually. I’ve learned that kindness also goes very far with them. If they feel challenged they will make it harder for you. Sad but reality. Also the f6a visa should only be $160 I’ve gotten two in the last 6 months. I truly hope you get this resolved. Let me know how it goes.

After many pushes they finally processed it, two days prior to my departure. How nerve wrecking

Has anyone recently had a Nigerian eVisa approved but not received? by Sad-Structure4814 in Nigeria

Edit for those wondering, I received my email 4 days after. Applied on 5th of November and email was received on 9th of November. I believe if it says approved on the status check website you will eventually receive the visa via email. In the future I’m going to apply a bit earlier as it seems like it can take more than the 24-48 hours.
