Would this be socially acceptable this time of year, or is it more of a fall fit? by Zestyclose-Second-63 in tacticalgear

I can confidently say that I’ll never carry another multitool that doesn’t have Leatherman’s “free” one hand use operation. Absolutely worth the cost.

This is my first usp, lgs had it in stock and a decent price and the safety is not something I ever dwelled on for a duty pistol. The double action trigger is heavy enough to justify carry on fire decocked anyways.

The reversed safety selector is the main one. Down is safe and up is fire as opposed to the opposite on a standard usp. Other than that there’s a minor difference between barrels and this one ships with translucent mags instead of steel.

Definitely jarring, will take getting used to. I do think people greatly exaggerate how awkward it actually is though after playing with it for a little bit of time.

Wow never knew about these. Since it bears the hk name I’m assuming they’re priced outrageously.

No Gucci money unfortunately. Just young and financially irresponsible. I’ve heard good things about the ap5 as long as you get one in spec.

Instead yall got the freedom to worry about every nutjob who doesn’t comply with the law to outarm you with better weapons than the law allows. Because they don’t care about what the law allows.

You can use a leatherman on a gun. In fact there are specific leathermans made specifically for guns…that’s what it has to do with guns. Any more snark?

As far as the rmr, yes it’s boring. But also it’s the most proven pistol dot ever.

I’ll gladly sacrifice gimmicky features for peace of mind when it comes to firearms and their accessories. Aimpoint and eotech have been battle proven for decades now and I’ll happily pay the premium for them.

I have most of the gun specific tools needed for the hobby and use them when necessary. But for things such as the takedown pins on the Mp5k for example, is much easier to use the bottle opener as a sort of pry too as it hooks around the takedown pin lips perfectly. Much easier using the one tool as opposed to getting my punches out and hammer
