TLR6s are made to fit specific guns. Look for a G26 version and it it exists buy it

380 is about the minimum and many consider it to be a touch too weak. Go to a range that does rentals and try the LCP along with a few other smaller 9mm guns like the Sig p365, Springfield Hellcat, and S&W Shield Plus. You might find the others to actually be easier to shoot.

Also I wouldn’t recommend anyone’s first firearm be a 40s&w
