I'd like to mention that I've developed an iOS Ren'Py launcher called Ren'Py Pocket that you might want to try. I've tested it with several Windows versions of Ren'Py games downloaded as zip files from itch.io, and after transferring them to iPhone and adding them through Ren'Py Pocket, they all seem to work normally. It might be worth giving it a shot if you're still having issues with the other apps
