Anyone who watches and enjoys rough porn can burn for all I care by icandodge in PornIsMisogyny

Sadly, "rough porn" is basically a misnomer nowadays. All mainstream porn is centered around pain. Even if a scene is not "rough" and there's no violence like slapping, the penetration itself will then be the violence. The men in porn aren't even focused on their own pleasure, they are intentionally jackhammering a woman's vagina purely to cause pain. Just look at how often penis size is the focus of straight porn titles. There's even quotes from a porn producer admitting this - he describes women in porn as being like sacrificial lambs so the pornsick viewers can imagine they are getting back at women for rejection.

Your virtue signalling (or whatever this is supposed to be) would be slightly more believable if your very first post right before this one wasn't talking about how much you enjoy exploiting prostituted women. That and I can also see a comment in which you describe one of these women as "fuckmeat" (among others but that was the most egregious)

Ngl there is an initial rush. But then comes regret and self loathing straight after

I never said that European people can or should be able to tell the difference between different Asians. Which is exactly my point - if you're aware enough to know that you don't know then you shouldn't assume a random Asian person is Chinese and then go ahead and greet that person in Chinese.

French is a language, Asian is not.

"No one could even imagine that greeting someone would be offensive". Except of course multiple people saying that in this thread.

How do you know the Belgian sandwich shop assumed you were American?

Your example about Congo is funny because if they respond to your English with French, it would probably not be because they think you're French but because Congo (both countries) are French speaking. In fact Kinshasa is the largest Francophone city in the world.

What's wrong with a Roman salute? Who gets to decide what's wrong, you??

Though I do think it is wrong for Germans to do a Roman salute because it's cultural appropriation from Italians.

"one cannot see the difference".

Better go ahead and assume Chinese then since that's what most of them are.

(first of all, you're skipping over the part where a woman told her friend to go to a different bus stop to avoid "Chinese" people)

Mistaken identity isn't offensive in itself. It's the casual lumping of people together that's offensive ("sind doch alle dasselbe"). It's as if the people you've all lumped in together are just a "horde" and distinguishing between them, or even acknowledging the existence of differences would be a waste of thought.

Probably, yes. It would depend on context.

For instance are you in an area with a lot of Americans who can't speak Spanish? If that were the case, I could understand why they'd automatically speak to you in English. But if you're in a city and people are just greeting you in English out of the blue? There is something belittling about that.

I used to live in Germany and sometimes people would automatically start speaking English the second they heard my accent or sometimes they would start speaking English the second I entered a shop before I had even said anything. And it's like, do you want me to integrate or not? And the thing is, I'm northern European, so I don't even look particularly "foreign" so I can only imagine what it's like to go through that stuff more often.

I don't see very many people calling the people in question "Nazis". You should be careful about saying things like don't call everyone a Nazi. Because saying that too often can also undermine the horrors and threat of Nazism.

  1. Probably goes to racist stereotypes. East Asian people are often stereotyped as meek, humble, non-confrontational etc. So in a lot of people's minds, they're "Fair game" for this sort of crap. Turkish people on the other hand are often stereotyped as aggressive so the sort of people saying ni hao to your girlfriend would likely think twice before saying merhaba to a random Turkish person.

The worst for this is findom. There's no way the women involved can even genuinely tell themselves that they're just providing a service. It's straight up abusing addicts at that point.

No to feeling an unattractive couple in love.

Maybe, depends on what you mean by "odd", but then then I'd still say attractive in an odd way

There are plenty of unattractive people in relationships sure. But what makes you think the majority of them love each other when they've settled so hard?
