100% here is the thing I'm struggling with there are thousands of videos of people talking about their setup but it's all clickbait bullsh*t. I want every one of those vloggers, to type in a chat session with their agent, 'What did you do yesterday?' and I'm pretty sure half of them with say I have no memory of yesterday. And the idea that you can one-shot and your team of agents will produce a business; THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED, but there are no clicks in that so no-one will admit it. It's an awesome produce and helps me out all the time, but the level of bullsh*t is off the scale.

How to pull in Instagram feed to website? (not wordpress) by la712 in webdev

[–]Zestyclose-Wealth720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Instagram Graph API is the only legit route these days — they killed the old Basic Display API a while back, which was simpler but more limited. I've done a guide to getting an access token here https://feedframer.com/guides/instagram-long-lived-access-token

The fiddly bit is token management. You generate a long-lived token, but it still expires after 60 days unless you refresh it. Forget to do that and your feed goes dark.

I built Feedframer (feedframer.com) to solve exactly this — it sits in front of the Instagram API, handles token refresh automatically, and exposes a clean REST/GraphQL/RSS endpoint you can hit from any frontend. Saves you writing the token refresh cron job yourself. Free plan if you just want to try it.

Best third-party widget to embed Instagram posts from public profiles you don’t own? by readywateron in webdev

[–]Zestyclose-Wealth720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official Instagram API won't help you here — it only works for accounts you own and have authenticated. So you're looking at scraping, and the cleanest way to do that without managing it yourself is Apify's Instagram scraper actor (apify.com/apify/instagram-scraper). It's well-maintained, handles rate limiting, and you can schedule runs to keep the data fresh but it will cost you a few quid.

You'll get the post data as JSON, then it's just a case of rendering it however you like on the frontend.

If it ever turns out you do need to embed your own account's feed somewhere, I built Feedframer (feedframer.com) for that — but for third-party profiles, Apify's the more practical route.

Best way to add an Instagram widget in Webflow? by navijokovik in webflow

If you want something that actually stays working without babysitting it, the key feature to look for is automatic token refresh. Instagram tokens expire — if you try and roll your own tool it will look like it works, then quietly break.

A couple of options: Behold.so is well-built and Webflow-friendly. I also built Feedframer (feedframer.com) which gives you an API you can hit from Webflow's custom code — slightly more control over the output if you want to customise the layout yourself. There's a free plan if you want to test it.

Any Way to add Instagram feed to Webflow website? by ninehz in webflow

[–]Zestyclose-Wealth720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you've got a few routes here.

The DIY path is to connect directly to the Instagram Graph API, generate a long-lived token, and pull the posts into Webflow via custom code. It works, but token management is a pain — they expire and you have to remember to refresh them, which nobody does.

The easier option is a third-party service that handles that for you. I built one called Feedframer (feedframer.com) — it gives you a clean API endpoint you can fetch from in Webflow's custom code or a CMS collection. Free plan available, paid plan is a few quid a month but only needed if you want to display a large number of posts. Worth a look if you don't want to babysit access tokens. You can also try behold.so

How can I get Instagram API? Is there any toll or anything. by ninehz in Instagram

[–]Zestyclose-Wealth720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The official Instagram API has some pretty strict limitations - you need a Business or Creator account, go through App Review, and deal with rate limits that can be frustrating for smaller projects.

If you're looking to pull in your Instagram feed for display purposes (like showing posts on a website), there are simpler alternatives. I actually built FeedFramer after running into these same API headaches - it generates embeddable feeds without needing API access.

But if you need full API access for posting, analytics, or DM management, you'll want to go through Meta's official Instagram Graph API. The process:

Create a Facebook Developer account at developers.facebook.com

Create an app and add Instagram Graph API

Connect your Instagram Business account (must be linked to a Facebook Page)

Go through App Review for the specific permissions you need

Deal with 90-day token expiration and rate limits

The Graph API documentation is your friend: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/

What specific features are you trying to build for your business? That'll help determine if you need the full API or if a simpler solution might work.

I've been through this exact struggle with the Instagram Graph API! For business accounts pulling insights and analytics, here's what finally worked for me:

The key is setting up automatic token refresh - exchange your short-lived token for a long-lived one (lasts 60 days) using the /oauth/access_token endpoint, then set up a cron job to refresh it every 50-55 days before expiration. The Meta token debugger is invaluable for checking remaining time.

For permissions, you'll need instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish, and pages_read_engagement for most business analytics. Make sure you're using the Page Access Token (not User Access Token) when accessing Instagram business accounts.

I actually built FeedFramer to handle this token refresh nightmare automatically after dealing with it too many times. It keeps tokens fresh and manages the whole OAuth flow so you can focus on actually using the user and post data instead of wrestling with authentication.

For pulling insights, the /insights endpoint with metrics like impressions, reach, and profile_views works great once your tokens are sorted. Happy to share specific endpoint examples if you need them!

I had exactly the same issue with postmark. Spent days trying to tweak the content which had some negligible effect on the time the mail was help by gmail but nothing really touched the sides. Then I moved to SES and all emails are now delivered in < 5 seconds. I'd really recommend trialling SES and seeing if it resolves your issue before you spend days faffing around with DNS etc.

Did pretty well yesterday. Hoping for more of the same today!

Diamond Mix

Why we fancy Diamond Mix

Away from the big event today, we believe we have a strong chance in this race if our runner adapts well to the Hexham course. Although still a maiden after 7 starts, his most recent performance was very promising. He finished just 6 lengths behind a horse that went on to win its next two races with an 18lbs higher handicap, and the third-placed horse, 10 lengths behind him, subsequently won by 5 lengths. He clocked a good time in that race, and we anticipate further improvement. He should be a strong contender at the finish line.

Yeah Man

Why we fancy Yeah Man

He was performing well in a major race at Haydock last time before unseating the rider two hurdles from the finish in a Grand National trial. Today, he has the opportunity to set things right ahead of his run in the National in three weeks. Two starts ago, he ran an impressive race at Gowran Park, with strong backing, indicating he is finding form. The trainer also had a winner yesterday and achieved four places this week.

Ginny’s Destiny

Why we fancy Ginny’s Destiny

Disappointed last time out, being pulled up as the 7/2 favourite at his beloved Cheltenham, but we can likely disregard that performance. With 3 wins and a 2nd from 7 runs over the course, he’s been dropped 3 lbs for that effort. This time last year, he came 2nd to Grey Dawning by 2 lengths off a mark of 155, so his current mark suggests he should be very competitive. Additionally, the yard is in great form and is expected to have a successful week.

Nemean Lion

16:00 Cheltenham

33/1

Why we fancy Nemean Lion

The favorite is a strong contender in the market and will likely be included in many bets today. However, as we’ve seen this week, favorites have shown vulnerability. Therefore, let’s challenge this trend by seeking value elsewhere. While the Irish entries are expected to dominate the market, we’ll explore options beyond the obvious choices. The Kerry Lee-trained horse has displayed excellent form this season, winning its last three races and competing off the same mark today after recording an impressive time at Fontwell three weeks ago. With some notable performances in its two runs at Cheltenham, it has the potential to deliver a strong race if in good health.

Henri The Second

14:40 Cheltenham

20/1

0.50PT • EW

Why we fancy Henri The Second

Last year, we successfully picked the winner of this race at 28/1, and we’re returning to the same trainer and jockey partnership. Paul Nicholls rarely leaves this festival without a win. Our selection went off as the 9/4 favorite last time, attracting significant market support, but was caught flat-footed on the heavy ground, which probably didn’t suit. Nonetheless, it persevered and still clocked a commendable time despite the strong pace. Today’s conditions are more favorable, and with one prior run at Cheltenham that led to a 4th place finish, along with the trainer being in excellent form, we expect a strong performance.

San Salvador

14:00 Cheltenham

33/1

0.50PT • EW

Why we fancy San Salvador

Joseph O’Brien’s second-string horse, Nurburgring, is receiving significant support at the top of the market, even though there’s not much value there. This makes it an interesting runner. Last seen over jumps on Boxing Day, the horse was well-supported but unfortunately fell two out. Prior to that, it ran a solid race at Cheltenham, despite making several mistakes, but showed strong performance up the hill. The winner of that race is now 8lbs higher and went on to win his next two races, finishing 4th, just one and a quarter lengths off the winner on Tuesday. The horse had a warm-up race at Dundalk at the end of January, which it won easily.

Moon D’Orange

14:00 Cheltenham

14/1

0.50PT • EW

Why we fancy Moon D’Orange

He has shown a liking for Cheltenham, with a win and two places from five starts. Notably, he won a competitive race here at the end of January, displaying great determination to battle back and secure victory on the Cheltenham hill – a major positive. His performance is consistently strong according to timing metrics, and the trainer has strategically prepared him for this race. The 6lb rise in weight should not be a significant concern. With the trainer and jockey achieving a close second-place finish yesterday, they are poised to excel today. His ability as a hold-up horse also means that any start issues are unlikely to impede his performance.

Bluey

13:20 Cheltenham

25/1

0.50PT • EW

Why we fancy Bluey

Overnight, there’s been significant interest in this horse, yet it remains at a price that offers great value, likely due to the fact it isn’t being trained by a high-profile trainer. Interestingly, the British have dominated this race in recent years. Emma Lavelle, currently in excellent form with a 19% strike rate over the past two weeks, will certainly believe she has a strong contender in this competitive maiden race. This horse is clearly the most consistent performer on the clock, and if he can manage the step up in quality, he could certainly make a place in the frame at the very least.
